eventually, players get bored. they want a new challenge.

G4 TV blow up has been fun 
Fully agree here, it’s been ages since I played a good strategy - or any strategy at all… That genre is dying out, I’m afraid.
There’s also Diablo IV in the works, too, it was announced a year ago or so, if I’m not mistaken? That said, I think that the release date was set pretty far into the future, maybe 2024?

If you like strategy games the Total War Warhmmer 1 and 2 are must haves. I’ve played about 1000 hours over the two of them, still playing it now… And TW3 comes out this year! So new content!
What do you mean? Elder Scrolls isn’t published by either of these two companies, it’s Bethesda.
Sorry, I mean because Microsoft already bought up Bethesda. That Starfield Game they are making in now XBox only, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Elder Scrolls VI is too.
I don’t play the above games, so less bothered if they are Xbox exclusive (ie just being selfish)
I also realise this is the PC gaming thread, which remains unaffected as they will get the releases regardless.

Yes. While I do have a PC, it would probably struggle to play Morrowind! All my gaming is Playstation.

I think 1 may be available now via the gamepass or for free through amazon gaming?
I have about 250 hrs in them so far I think.
3 is one of only 3 games i think i have ever pre-ordered (borderlands 2 & 3!)

Not sure that has been confirmed yet has it? They have said some games would be exclusive but not confirmed which as far as I know.
Starfield was confirmed as xbox exclusive. Elder Scolls VI hasn’t been, but I’d be surprised if one is and one isn’t.
Though there is also the possibilty of exclusivity for x amount of time before being released on other platforms, like Alan Wake.

I used to love those. AoE and AoE2, then Warcraft3 came out and took over that genre for a while on PC.
I miss those games, but I more miss the hours I dedicated to mastering them when I should have been doing other things. If I could go back in time…

Just redownloaded Stardew Valley (+some mods). Time to enjoy some rustic escapism until Fabio’s here.

Replayed Resident Evil 4 again. Still a classic in my book
Also played RE 5, RE 6, Revelations & Revelations 2.
Next up is RE 7(Currently playing) and Re Village. I’ll probably do the remakes of Re 2, 3 later.

Started a Dwarf campaign in TWW 2 this weekend ahead of Thursdays release of Total War Warhammer 3, which I have pre-ordered.
Hope the downloading and loading up isnt as chaotic as Lost Arc
