Yeah, central line suddenly has a ā€œshortage of driversā€

Don’t even think about it.
It’s worse than the skates.
Instead of falling flat on your face, you could accidentally launch yourself into orbit and end up stranded in the International Space Station for months. :upside_down_face:

Thanks, this is great.

I got a tip. There is a direct train from Chester to Liverpool South Parkway. I can get the no:86 bus to Allerton.

I found this map, so we leave Chester, going via Frodsham way.

I was thinking that’s why I’d go relatively early on in the parade then cut across I walked all over Berlin so as long as it’s dry it should be fine.

An hour 50 from Allerton, do hope the left luggage is open at Lime Street.

Not that specifically, more to do with shutting of e.g. Oxford Circus, or during events in Hyde Park, they shut (if I recall correctly) Green Park, Marble Arch, Hyde Park Corner.

Anyone who has been to one of these shindigs before…

I’m taking my eldest, who is only 6. I’ll be going nowhere near the city centre/end of the parade. Plan is to catch it somehere near Newsham Park, so around the halfway point…

Question is…how busy will it be at that stage of the parade, how fast will the bus be travelling?

Can’t believe this, I am feeling ill, body aching, got a cough and I have temperature, just taken Paracetamol.
I better be ok by next week.

Yeah that’s what I was trying to find out. As I will be heading back to Lime Street I’ll be going that way but won’t stick around for long.

Thanks Matty, I just don’t want to end up having chest infection. I have also in desperation taken a spoonful of black seed oil with honey and drinking ginger mint tea religiously. It is supposed to boost your immunity the black seed oil.

I know what you mean I went down with an illness in Berlin on holiday, dragged myself around but it wasn’t pleasant to have on holiday drugged up.

Hahahaha I was going to ask people who have been to a parade before if the organisers will provide porta Loos otherwise it will be nappies.
I will be relying on pubs and Cafes as my prostate is shot.
