Thanks @Maria very useful tips.
Down that paracetamol with green tea and honey and lemon that should help.
Do they have radar toilets I could buy a key online?
We canāt stop laughing all my family and the more we look at the picture the more we laugh. Just the thought of using one of them.
Iām guessing wherever you view the bus, junior will be on your shoulders eh.
I went to the last one, and positioned myself on the pavement of Queens Drive, just after the roundabout that joins Menlove Avenue, Queens Drive, and Allerton Road⦠Not only do you see the bus approaching from quite close-up as it navigates the roundabout, but it then passes in front of the watching pedestrians at quite a slow speed. In other words, plenty of time to get quite a few photographs, or to jog alongside for a couple of hundred metres or so. The pavements at this juncture, are about 5/6metres wide, so while it will have plenty of people standing on them, unlike standing on the Kop of old, there is still plenty of breathing space without being jostled about etc.
@Maria is heading to the start point at Allerton Maze, which is in spitting distance of Queens Drive, and in all likelihood, being the āGroupieā that she is, will probably follow the bus herself for a fair bit along Queens Drive :0)
At the beginning of the parade, if it starts on time (or even if it doesnāt), commences at a leisurely pace, so the bus is less likely to zoom past, than if it needs to recalculate, to make up its time schedule further into the routeā¦
IMO, Newsham Park, or more to the point, the elements of, and under currents attached to it⦠even though there will be a feelgood factor in the City that day, well lets just say, be careful around thereā¦
However, if you are looking for a park to keep junior occupied and use some of his energy up beforehand⦠Newsham Park does have a playground of swings etc, but beyond that, I have no idea what condition they are in⦠It also has a fishing lake as a walking route that can be of interest.
Another Park to consider, is Calderstones Park. As this is only a 10minute walk from the start point, it will only be of interest if you take up position at the earlier stage of the parade, rather than Newsham Park area. This has lots more amenities though, Cafe, Ice Cream Parlour, Childrenās playground, Nature Reserve, Japanese Garden, Fishing Lake and so on⦠There are also lots of cafeās, coffee shops on Allerton Road/Maze
No, the LFC parade route will not have designated radar toilets or any toilets at all along the route. Fans are advised to plan accordingly and find alternative restrooms before or after the parade. The parade will start at 2.30pm on Monday, May 26th, 2025, and is expected to be a large event with hundreds of thousands of fans.
