I was watching Pressbox and They were talking about the parade and liverpools habit of celebrating success like no other club in the world. One of the details that escaped me in the previous CL trophy parade was people holding pictures of dead relatives and waving them at the players on the bus so that they attend a parade when perhaps they didnāt or couldnāt when they were alive, I thought that was very moving and fairly rares in these event.
The other bit of information I got in the news that made me very emotional was that the cup would be presented to Virgil by KK and Allen Hansen two of my favourite legends.
This is exactly why Iāll be catching the early parts of the parade. If I bring number 1 home with burns, Mrs SBYM will make me start following Yanited or something.
Flying from Zagreb to Dublin to Liverpool in a few hours, will be there until Tuesday.

Became a fan in 2007, just missed Istanbul and Cardiff. 10 years ago today we were coming up on the 10-year anniversary of Istanbul, and I wondered if Iād ever get to experience times like those. 5 years ago today we were still a month out from our COVID-delayed title and ā while everyone made the best of it, and playing 38 games on the pitch was the best possible outcome at the time ā I wondered if maybe we just donāt get to have nice things. Today I am gearing up for a TATL flight to the celebrations. My mom often said āwhat you think is the end of the story is often the middle,ā and this is a happy example of that.
