I quite enjoyed that,
really proud of the lads tonight,
cant have been easy coming into this game against a young energetic Ajax team,
specially after our last 2 games, and missing a few first name on the team sheet player,
but the team rose to the challenge, defended well and we got the win,
Fab was great, as was Robbo
Gomes looked angry, and angry Gomez is a better player,
Big shout to Adrian tho,
a bit nervy in the 1st few mins, but I thought he grew in confidence, and played quite well
he even started trying to command his area.
I hope he keeps it up.

Really good European away performance. Not pretty but we dug in and deserved the win. Fabinho outstanding. Robertson also very good. The new front 3 of Minamino. Shaqiri and Jota did well when they came on. Jota in particular looks razor sharp. Alisson can’t come back soon enough, and when he does things will look much better at the back.
