Thatâs it exactly, despite everyone talking Arsenal up all night, the only time we were in danger, was Thiagoâs back pass. We totally controlled the 2nd half.
Another day at the office, I mean at the Emirates: Diogo and Bobby both got their customary goals against Arsenal.
Slow first half, then a controlled second (aside from Thiago blunder, which he made up for with an assist to Jota). Joel, Virg, Ali, Robbo and Fab all superb. Very happy for Bobby, he deserved that celebration with the fans!
We defo have a tougher run in on paper but does that really matter? If we do end up dropping points or even City, itâll probably be against relegation fodders.
Whoever did that underrated our performance by four points.
But they play Liverpool, thank God we donât have thatâŚ
I did it. Was trying to be humble
Apart from the game against us, Cityâs run in isnât bad at all.
Three points, clean sheet away from home against a very good Arsenal side, lovely.
Some credit to Arsenal. They have grown as a team and they have some very good young players with pace and skill. They also put up a bit more fight these days too. I think they will finish fourth, so long as they donât let a defeat to us blow them off course. Arsenal lived with us for over half a game, which most canât do, but then we went up a gear or two, scored a couple of goals, and coasted home.
So more credit to us. We were below our best, and yet still held our own just fine, before upping it and adding a couple of decisive goals. And what lovely depth we have these days. Diaz started, but that was probably his most flat game since he arrived. Jota has been a little out of sorts since injury, but he kept going and got the breakthrough goal before being subbed out.
Salah and Firmino. Not a bad pair to bring on. Bobby linked it up a treat and got a nice goal too.
This is what we needed. The front three has been brilliant, but when tired, or when it isnât quite falling for us, there was a drop off to shuffle the pack. Now it is five elite forwards, and they are all on their toes.
I would still make Man City slight favorites, as they are a point ahead, their run in is easier, and they are at home for the big game against us. But we have momentum, a 14 pt gap is now only 1 point, and what seemed an almost impossible task a few short weeks ago now looks very doable.
Game on!
Football wise, it is turning to be an excellent week. Monday: Cheaty drops two points. Tuesday: scum kicked out of the CL. Wednesday: our win at the Emirates. Is there much more we could wish for? Maybe a favourable draw for us in the CL and unfavourable for Cheaty and Chavs? And both of them kicked out of the FA cup while we progress? A lot to ask, but it does not seem so impossible today, does it?
They are genuinely delighted. I love reading it, reinforces just how good this Liverpool side is that getting beat at home pretty comfortably is considered a great performance against us.
A good draw for the CL Quarterfinals tomorrow, and the job at Nottingham on Sunday, and we go strong!

Got a feeling the draw for CL is on Friday at 11am⌠due to Europa games tomorrow being included
Fixed to be more precise.
Heâs a late bloomer
I preferred the bit where he was struggling to find the right word in english and looked to Robbo for help and was just met with a shrug as if to say Thiago was doing better with English than he could.
Almost fell asleep in the first half Second much better, Matip MotM.

Iâm really looking forward to the battle against the Tricky Trees!
It has been many a year since I sung,
We hate Nottingham Forest
We hate Everton too
To the tune of Land of Hope and Glory.
How times have changed!
Everton Lose
Iâm hoping itâs ultra shit weather on 2nd of April at Turf Moor, also hope that when City hear on the 1st that the game has been called off, they actually believe it.
