Post match: Aston Villa v Liverpool (EPL 10/5/22 8pm)

I agree he was awful for both teams and didn’t seem to have control over a game that wasn’t over physical with no real dangersous tackles.

I didn’t read the match thread, but to be fair until Hendo came on our midfield simply was not functioning (Fab, Jones, Kieta) we’re all poor as a unit.

For me it was Hendersons leadership that changed the game.

Jones had flashes of good play, but was fairly anonymous overall. Can’t remember him winning the ball and was not involved enough in general play. Fab was far worse. But Jones was unspectacular. A 6 out of 10 sort of game. Not bad but he was not good either.

I am in most in game threads and I just ignore the ones that post shit and I think all this over reaction to the in game threads to be over the top

The midfield did start slowly but after 15 mins they got in their stride and we controlled the game and Jones looked good in that left sided role especially when he was/is aggressive with his play in the final 3rd.

With regards to people having a go at him it is because he is an easy target and others jump on the bandwagon and on many occasions it is bollox and they sometimes get my ire.

Sterling dive for pen. No yellow card.

So
Allison would have been better off letting the initial chance go in.
Then its offside and no goal.
How fucking stupid is that?
