Must say I don’t feel bad about it, if Xabi decides to commit to Chelsea before the end of the season, then whatever.

It’s not like Liverpool could only do well under him and nobody else could bring us back to the top.

I just came back from a very pleasant 50 minutes walk. Thoroughly enjoyed the late afternoon sun and warm temperature. Which is more than I could say for the shite being served by Slot and co earlier.

If Villa lose to City and we beat Brentford, we’ll finish 4th. Quite frankly, the rest of the league should be ashamed of themselves for letting that happen because we are a fucking terrible football team.

Slot needs to go. There’s no way around it.

If we finish fourth, then we’ll have been the fourth best team in the league. That feels absolutely absurd, but it would literally be the case.

What do you mean “could”?

At this point, it’s guaranteed.

Which reiterates my point.

Although frankly, there’s being the fourth “best” team and the fourth best team tactically. We’re far from the latter. We’re clearly only even as high as 60 points because we have better athletes and a deeper squad than most those teams. But nobody can convince me that we’re as well set up as Brentford or Brighton or Leeds or whatever.

I went to play 5-a side footie with my Sunday league team. Two teams on one team off. Between breaks one of my LFC supporting teammates (Alex, who is actually about to move to Liverpool for a new job) looked up the score (I couldn’t be bothered).
“We’re down 1-0 already” he goes.
“That’s all? Wait for the final whistle” I replied.

Not surprised in the least that I was right.

My Sunday league team would probably give the Reds a good game at this point.

No chance.

I’ve seen us at Anfield five times this season. The first one was emotional and chaotic but we didn’t know what was to come. Thought Westham would lead to an uptick in fortunes but we have literally cratered since then. Brentford are a combative team who have pace and goals in them. We play like a boxer about to be counted out.

The boos are going to be deafening and undeniable.

Btw…brentford are beating us as well…with ease

I don’t believe a word Slot’s saying. He is living in another parallel universe, or he’s on PCP.

The rest of the FSG Director’s board are also deluded and detached from reality, they must be on ketamines.

VVD’s 2nd goal was our 100th this season.

Yaaaayyyyyyyy…

Woke up at 06:15. Had to decide whether or not to get out of bed to check the score. I thought, “Nah, it’ll be 5-0 and then I won’t get back to sleep.” Got another hour or so of sleep before nervously picking up my phone.
“Mmmm. Wasn’t far wrong.” Went back to bed and fumed.

Slot out. Agree with above. Sack him now and have Elaine Page take charge for the last game. Sorry, Rob.

Same here. In fact, I’m starting to lean towards Iraola. Prem-proven and isn’t Dutch. It’s interesting that he hasn’t been linked with anyone yet and he won’t be going to Bilbao.
