Not our best, however we’ll pick all 3points. Thank you very much cherries.
I think that was our first real test this season.
We popped their cherry.
I’ll get on the bus now.
We got a bit lucky and admittedly England seemed to favour us more often than not. No one really stood out, except for Alisson after a long time and Gravenberch but overall, we did just enough to earn 3 invaluable points. Salah, while mostly quiet still produced a world class finish and along with the well-taken penalty continues to lead the way. All the subs contributed too. All in all, not much to complain about except for TAA’s injury.
By the way, kudos to Bournemouth. They looked like a Klopp side.
I wouldn’t say we were bad we created the most chances and woodworks tend to always make things look far better than they are even though effectively they are just wayward shots.
Expected goals is 2.46 to 1.00 so take that as you want.
Was that the collective groan of Arsenal fans that I just heard, as their hope of dropped points is dashed on the rocks of the Red rocks of destiny?
As has been the case for most the season, the result was better than the performance.
Rode our luck a few times with the post/Ali coming to our rescue.
A big 3 points. Shame we picked up an injury but tbh, I’d rather see Bradley start anyway.
That wasn’t easy as the score suggests. They hit the post twice plus their in form striker missed an open goal.
It could have been very different but we delivered a very professional performance. Well done! YNWA
Trent was fucking awful … again. These kind of performances from him are becoming almost expected now. Most important game of the season and he nearly puts us one down in the first minute. Enough’s enough as far as I’m concerned.
Definitely a lucky three points today against a very good Bournemouth team. Trent with a horrendous first half but we tightened up when Barclay came on. Only one MOM with two goals, the second being fantastic but a big shout out to Ali for making some top class saves. A great three points over a very
in-form team.
You need a bit of luck to win the league and we had a good portion there. The Ref certainly favoured us in a couple of big decisions, but I have to admit my viewing was interrupted on a few occasions.
Glad we have a less intense match next weekend, because the Derby is going to be another battle.
Not a rolls Royce. But getting it done.
Will take that 3 points every day of the week.
It was very smart of Slot to rest players midweek. Bournemouth are very energetic and you could tell up to the point that they were struggling to find substitutions.
I thought Bournemouth were very unlucky: an offside goal and several shots off the woodwork. But if we want to win this, we have to ride our luck.
And best ever CB sees us home. Howto replace him.
Let Trent go. Shame but……
Not bothered about next season… For now atleast.
We’re winning this one.
Mo, our main target is to win the premier league this season.
You seem to be one of those people who are more desperate for us to lose than win so you can bitch and moan. Give yourself a good wobble.
