What is so good about them? Overperformed last year and did very well and they are without Kroupi but they haven´t won a game yet.
Decent side but a Liverpool side of the level we came to expect should still beat them easily enough.
And we did today of course.

Our start hasnt been as easy as some would make believe. We are still unbeaten. Things are looking good.
Our next four league games are against the current top 4 in the league, we’ll have a better measure of ourselves after those games.
Still, plenty to look forward to this season.

Bournemouth are a decent little side, but they were awful today. Can’t see us being able to play at 50% intensity and winning many more games away from home.

But we have two £100m passengers… Barcola and Wirtz.
They are doing nothing or being invisible on the pitch. (Barcola)…
I think both of them should come off the bench when the opposition is tired. And only when they start producing (G/A)… then they get the privilege to be starters. Or a few starts because of rotation. But they shouldn’t be guaranteed starters.
I would play more of the energetic kids in their place. ( Rio, Munoz, Nyoni )
- Wirtz and Barcola garbage play puts more pressure on Gakpo, isak and Dom to make something happen.
- If we are going to give Barcola the excuse of needing time to bed in… then he shouldn’t be starting. Because he is part of the reason for our slow start to our matches.

We need more control in midfield to feed the forwards, at present Iraola is sticking with two and we are not in control so forwards are starved of decent service.

He played well enough. I don’t know if I am watching a different match.
He competed for every delivery. He was packed into tight spaces but still made some deft moves.
There’s no shortage of effort from his side.
Look at how maligned haverrz was during his Chelsea and his early Arsenal days.
To the detriment of the team… nope… i never proposed Wirtz not get benched. He should of been a long time ago.
Its not like Wirtz turned it around. So why make the same mistake with Barcola.
If it wasn’t for their price tag. They would of gotten the Grav treatment already.
Every player should earn their starting place.
He doesn’t. Gomez can pass and cross a lot better than Araujo.
He isn’t as reliable defensively though.

We struggled again against an aggressive team. Too many technical errors from us.
1st 30 minutes not that good however after that our quality started showing through. The only way they were going to score was if we handed it to them on a plate, which of course we almost did on occasion, however to score we needed to show a little more aggression and purpose which we managed once.
I thought some of our players were lacklustre including Gakpo and Isak. Only Jacquet, Araujo and Kerkez really looked prepared for the physical battle.
Anyway I wouldn’t take any of Bournemouth’s players none have the technical ability to play for us. One aggressive player isn’t going to help us.

Apparently German Sky reckon that Wirzt played an exquisite back heel to Isaak for the goal.
Did he ?
(I am currently waiting to see it again on Match of the Day to make a judgement)

No, he tried to flick it towards goal and completely missed it, but in doing so he confused the CB and in the end bounced off his back.

Well maybe… but I dont think it was an exquisite back heel… but he definitely got something on the ball that diverted it for Isaak to score. Probably inadvertant ?

He was there and if he hadn’t been the ball wouldn’t have broken for Isak. That’s all that should be important to us.
I couldn’t see exactly how the ball broke out how it did. It certainly wasn’t exquisite however it was important.

We won and the majority of comments are still just to aim jabs at the favourite punching bags.
