Even a draw here would have been a bad result.
I actually feel sorry for Slot managing these fucking crabs but he needs to be sacked tonight.
This clown show can’t be allowed to continue.

They’re just prolonging the inevitable at this point.
Bournemouth’s first win this season vs a top half side..
What type of training do they do at Kirkby? Our touches were terrible, our passes were under or over hit…worse that they’re not even accurate. Sigh.
How do we STILL not have a CB signed
Always sucks losing with the last kick.
Same problems. Control the game. Concede with the first shot by the opposition. Ok, you see if Gomez can continue and decide who will replace him if he can’t. But 7 minutes?
Only good part is we got two goals back to level the game. Tried to be too intricate at times. There where chances to shoot but we wanted to be perfect.
That final play was inevitable. Grav tried to get good of the ball but it ran out. He then picked up a yellow for kicking the ball stand thing. Then the 60 second long throws, ending with the goal.
In isolation, can say we were unlucky in this game. But looking at the whole season, the same issues keep popping up.
We’ve improved in that area then ![]()
Bournemouth without a win this season whey they scored first.
Liverpool with the most goals in the second half.
Bournemouth with the fewest goal scored in the second half.
That’s how bad we are.
I think we (and a few others) have been really reasonable about Slot, and I still don’t think he is entirely to blame for what has gone wrong, but right now, I think the biggest argument for pulling the trigger is that these players look like they just need to hear someone else’s voice. Someone to come in and go “that’s over - it’s a new start”.
Awful way to lose it, draw would’ve been a fair result and we were seconds away from maintaining our unbeaten run, but as we know football in this league is a game of fine margins.
Grav and Szobo the 2 shining lights in an otherwise meandering evening.
Quoting myself here, though we in fact dropped the point anyway. We have had good seasons and bad seasons over the years, but I genuinely cannot remember one as tediously predictable as this one. Even as the walls were collapsing around Rodgers, he was at least desperately experimenting. But this team isn’t bad, it just isn’t good either, just tediously mediocre. Games have been a chore to watch for months now
This time, it’s the stalwarts who let us down with clear, unenforced errors leading to goals. VVD on the two first goals, Alli on the 3-2. On another night, we win this two nil.
But generally, the performance level wasn’t good enough. The players looked stale, bereft of ideas and at times, uninterested.
Of course, losing Gomez after the first goal was a right kick in the teeth and didn’t help (we conceded the second half while playing with ten men). He was one of our best performers at Marseille. Once again, injury jinx strikes, and that is bound to have an effect on the players. They aren’t robots, and everyone must think if he’s next on the list.
Still, not good enough, especially from the forward players who had chances to score the winner during the second half, and missed their chances (Wirtz, Salah, Gakpo were all miserable to be fair).
I was honestly just thinking this…
It is a significant mental burden now, it’s learned behaviour…he’d have to be Houdini to get out of this.
I do not think he is Houdini.
I am really taking a dislike to the way he is using Rio, as a young and developing player. He is being thrown on at the ‘do something’ stage, which is more or less setting him up to fail while not developing his understanding of what he needs to be more competitive.
How many times this season have we ended up with this kitchen sink formation.
Only bright spot was Rio coming on. He gave some much needed threat on the left.
Body language is really poor aint it and they need new ideas. I think the passive and controlled way of playing bites us in the ass at moments like when we make it 2-2. Still in control mode and Bournemouth were first to every ball after it because they upped their pace of the play
Nah it was this shit under Rodgers after some part time bloke at Swansea highlighted his system was shit
Honestly kind of glad they scored that one at the end. I know we are a patient club but leadership have been putting their head in the sand about Slot and his future. Yes he won a league title which will always be remembered and a great achievement but there have been alarm bells ringing since about March of last season and we’ve never recovered.
He’s had ample time to find solutions in training and nothing is improving. He’s just not good enough. STILL no discernable system, no improvement in the style, nothing to get excited about and still absolutely hopeless defensively.
Still doing exactly what I complained about a few months ago as well - beat Marseille playing 4222, oh cool I’ll just do that again, start losing, shit change it all. There is no ideas here it’s just a man drowning and desperately grabbing hold of anything in the hope it saves him.
Think I’ve been one of the few others, but seeing our complete lack of shape after Slot’s subs (again) is sending me rapidly over to the dark side
I still think he’s a good coach, but he seems powerless to stop us conceding the same goal every fucking week.
