Oh well. I’m gonna make a prediction. Never say never but we’re not winning the title or CL this year. I don’t see how we turn around the disjointed nature of the team within a season. It’s gonna take another whole season and preseason for this team to gel and for Wirtz to get up to speed. Too many things malfunctioning at once

Grav is an absolute liability defensively. Look at him jogging back when Caicedo has the ball.
I know we all got excited a few weeks ago, but he’s been terrible since. His lack of passing ability is painfully obvious too. Compared to Caicedo he’s sadly lacking in many areas.

We keep starting with Bradley and Kerkez and both keep getting hooked. For whatever reasons it’s obvious that neither of them should be first choice atm.
Why is Gomez being ignored even when Konate goes off ?
And why is Mac playing nearly ninety minutes when it’s obvious he’s not right ? Curtis clearly should have started ahead of him.
If we don’t begin to turn this around soon , at the very least looking a little more coherent , and by playing the best players in their best positions then Slot might very well be earning himself the moniker of ‘one season wonder’ , and that with a team that wasn’t even his.
Yet Trent only got 4 assists last season.
That is tongue in cheek as sometimes the pass for the assist isn’t always the most important one and with Trents range of passing, you have someone who can stop a team pressing or pushing up to assist the press.

According to much of the media stuff I have read, it was down to Glasner not wanting to let him go because he wasn’t adequately replaced, not the fee.

Yes but also Estavao got lots of time and space every time he got the ball, scored and only a great save from Mama prevented another, Robbo is scared to engage higher up as he lacks the recovery pace.

Can u tell…this should not be happening to this team…my team…our team…balls into the box from us, went straight to plastics…balls from our penalty box to out midfield ended up at the feet of the plastics…geez…we played in bright red not blue…

I wouls still start Frimpong as he hasn’t been poor defensively, more so on the ball and his pace scares teams.
With Wirtz, for me that is down to the players around him, some poor timed passes, by that I mean waiting too long and then he is clesd down, and lack of movement off him.

It probably is. That’s why I said 20% because the rest probably weren’t as crucial.
My point is that the creative part is not completely absent, and that his stats could have been much better (assists), and they’re not through no fault of his own. Today’s key pass was incredible.
What did Kerkez do wrong, their right side was nullified until he was replaced?

Isn’t football a funny game, Gakpo who didn’t do anything all match scores a goal and wins our man of the match. 
Admittedly noone else was much better.

Well that was disappointing though not surprising!
Lots of tactical stuff to sort out, effort and some gelling to do.

He was bought to get up and down that wing and put crosses in … I can’t recall a single one.
He gets pelters but at least he was involved, tried and also worked hard to get back in to cover the full back areas.

Their diving got a free kick every time and Bradley got a yellow for shirt pulling, Taylor was rubbish once he gave Bradley a yellow he was terrified of tackling anybody and when that Little prick Garnacho went down holding his ankles when there was very little contact from Bradley god job he kept his cool otherwise Taylor was itching to show him a red hence why Slot took him off at half time. Salah was rugby tackled and tossed to the ground unceremoniously but it was waved on as if that was normal.
