Post match: Chelsea v Liverpool (EPL 4/4/23 8pm)

Hendo has 100% lost it this year, I noticed a definite antagonistic character change while still in preseason. Saw him mouthing off to player like Mo, Virgil, etc. Something has definitely got into this team this year and needs weeded out aggressively, regardless of where it is and who it is.

He’s unfortunately becoming/become the Joe Gomez of midfield. Talented but unreliable/unlucky.

Yeah I do wonder about the C and VC who have not had good campaigns. Definitely both need to have competition for their places

We have to be honest with ourselves - this could have / would have ended in a 3-0 defeat against a team capable of scoring.

Our players are walking on eggshells and have lost all their confidence

It’s all in their heads now

The best thing to come out of the steaming pile of shit, is that it’s one less game to watch this season.

Its not as its the first time ever that Hendo shouts down at fellow players when he sees something. Yes we have been shite, including the captain but the last thing we can afford to lose is some fire and its important that the captain shows that we can lose the quality on field but we cannot stop trying to improve and plugging and you don’t want the captain to hang his head and just let the rot run. We only focus on the clash but did not want to see that both of them walk off arm in arm on good terms. It could be Alisson whom we seem to insinuate that just because he has played better, he should be free from correction from a captain who did not play as well, so do we mean, its ok if it was say someone like Fabinho that he tries to shout down? Lets not forget that Hendo is a captain that the squad respects and accepts as Captain. He is not the best paid, nor will he ever be rated as the best player list in terms of playing abilities, but to be accepted by the coach and the squad as the Captain in a squad of world class players, he has the responsibility not to drop his head even when we have all been shit.

A point away in London is nothing to be sniffed at, especially this season.

As for everything else

If you’re not walking the walk on the pitch then you fucking better not be gobbing off
especially at a lad who is actually the MVP of the season

The squad needs a mental refresh. This is 95% above the shoulders. They didn’t all of a sudden become shit.

Refresh over summer and refresh via new faces.

Only saw the second half and was keeping updated on here.

The in match threads have reached their nadir. Bilous shite.

Read back to what @1972 and @WeeJoe have commented on. Kudos for calling this out.

Shameful stuff.

Bad as this is, and its bad

Abusing the very people, Players, Manager that went so close last season is disgusting.

It’s the way of the modern world: everything’s about the here and now; instant gratification and short-term thinking. Last season might as well not exist for such people.

I interpreted the Hendo & Ali situation so that Ali just lost his cool with Matip and Hendo was there just to first tell Ali to keep it together and then tell Matip off after that.

Very true.
City fans, Chelsea fans are littered with such entitled fucks who only know success. They drop off as the shiny thing loses its gloss. Very few Chelsea fans understand that Mourinho brought them success. Very few City fans know who Pellegrini is.

Its sad that a bigger picture cannot exist.
If Shanks was manager today he would be pilloried for not producing success every fucking season.
He wouldn’t last two years in the minds of some supporters, ordinary boys who think they know more than Klopp, Henry etc etc.

Whilst I agree with your premise, the entire raison d’ĂȘtre of online forums is for people to express their opinions. If someone thinks that Klopp or FSG are doing something wrong, they are perfectly entitled to express that belief, as long as they don’t imply that they know more than the manager or the owners.

That’s plainly bullshit.

Nah
They believe they know more.
Its reflected in tone.

They tacticians who moan about training methods as if they actually know what happens in reality.
The in game analysts who bemoan substitutions and game management.
The financial experts who wisely advise us on all things FSG

Of course forums are about opinion.
And diverse opinion makes great debate.
But there are people on all forums who think of themselves as resident experts on fucking everything.
They are at times lauded by the masses. Showmethemoney on TIA was a prime example. A fraud, exposed in time.

We all voice our opinions.
Its the nature of debate.
Some think they are of higher importance and knowledge than others.
Lads in the pub type of thing.
