It was a day where I didn’t mind getting short changed on the stoppage time. Game was well won, and in the cold and wet it meant a little less time for another muscle injury. Still, I’m sure Mo wanted a hat trick!

I noticed that minute, I was enjoying it so I didn’t want it to end, we also had a throw in level with their box when he blew the whistle.
To be fair Roy has said this before when we have beaten his team comfortably. Odd that Wolves and Palace two teams we have scrapped for points against in previous seasons have been torn apart this.
Weirder still before our 2nd I thought Palace was in that game and only really were finished with the 3rd. I felt they played better for that period than Spurs played on Wednesday if I’m honest.

Yep, Palace gave us a game and it wasn’t until the third that I felt comfortable.
Even then, I went us to start the second half properly and not give them a sniff, and fortunately we did exactly that with lots of smashing goals.

Saw part of the replay this morning and was awed with our captain’s performance and anticipation. He was always just at the periphery of the action. Whenever the situation needs his intervention he will then step in. Just awesome.
