I don’t see the stadium getting built, certainly the one they’ve proposed. I think the club are terrified of the reaction they’ll get if they say it’s been shelved. It’s all quite beautiful really.

There is more than a little bit of man sees what he wants to see and disregards the rest about this.
He was one of our better performers today and that’s reflected in the MOTM poll.
If you think he’s shite, then I suggest you take it up with Klopp who clearly adores him, and given he plays every fucking game when fit (which is to say every fucking game) he is obviously doing exactly what his manager wants.
This is a football team, and at the level this team plays at, there has to be balance. They can’t all be trying Hollywood passes and making runs into the box to pad their goal stats. Some of the lads have to do the dirty work behind the lines - recycle possession, be sensible, be available for a pass with four opposition lads around him. Just keep the ball moving and don’t give up possession.
So he was far from ‘useless’. He did the job in the team he was there to do. All four sides of Anfield clapped his off the pitch today and showed their appreciated for the shift he has put in for us. He was be hard to replace and we will miss him.

On this matter the Klopp thing is kind of important, because for all the shit that Gini gets from some fans, he plays him, and plays him, and plays him, and plays him. If Klopp wasn’t happy with what he was doing he wouldn’t have gone to him over and over again.
