Post Match: Everton v Liverpool (EPL 12/2/25 7.30pm)

Because the original point was based on “if Everton had lost”. That would have entailed the goal being ruled out.

Think the emotions of the game are affecting people’s ability to read and comprehend. I blame Michael Oliver.

That’s not the point I’m making. I’m suggesting that you are wrong to suggest that Everton fans would have had frustrations had the game ended in a 1-2 reverse.

The fact that you are struggling to think of a single contentious decision he gave in our favour suggests you know this is bollocks.

Slot is in charge he sees them in training if thats what he wants so be it.

Not necessarily. The bigger issue was why the football match was still going at that point.

There is about a minute left of the five added when the two Everton players clash heads. The goal is scored at nearly 98mins.

The point trying to be made which is getting dlost is the ref been shit influences the performance far more than it should.

You think they don’t go apoplectic if that goal at the end gets ruled out???

I know I would if roles were reversed but I’m also 100% convinced it’s a foul on Ibou. That’s the natural conflict of being a football fan, we feel the injustices against us more strongly than those that go in our favour. Which is the point I’ve been making.

I can give some credit when I see it, and even though I’m so disappointed by the uneven officiating that robbed us, I thought Branthwaite for them had a very good game. He was strong and defended well all game.

Well why debate anything on here at all then. 4 goals and assist since October, not good enough.

But it wouldn’t be an injustice the injustice was letting it stand

Seriously. Do we need to talk about it being “a minimum of 5 minutes”. Didn’t we learn enough about this after the away game at Forest last season?

But an Evertonian would say…

Oh fuck it, I give up now.

The critical issue with this example is that it didn’t happen.

But they’d be wrong. It was a clear foul.

Slot appears to disagree thats point im making.

And my question to you is given the only stoppage in added time took a maximum of one minute, where do you think Oliver found an additional two and a half?

The head clash happens at 94.12 play resumes at 95.38 goals goes in at 98.47 that 1.45 seconds extra accounting for the injury stopage.

In the spirit of this increasingly surreal conversation, I await @rab telling us that 1.45 was for an incident that could have happened, but didn’t

Oliver is a cheating cunt. He’s one of many. Anyone disagreeing with this is a fucking cretin. That is all.

You are digging yourself into a hole trying to defend a point. Its only an injustice if its a wrong call. The forgotten about phantom free kick where the lad kicks the floor and injuries himself thats an injustice its not a debatable decision.
