Post Match: Everton v Liverpool (EPL 12/2/25 7.30pm)

And this is why we are soft as shite as a club. Slot shouldn’t have apologised, he should have doubled down on it at his presser. Instead he’s said sorry to a fucking cheat who’s just done us out of 3 points. He’s made it look like he threw his toys out of the pram because we didn’t win.
Does anyone think Oliver will be any different the next time? Will he fuck. Absolute nonsense.

Ah I should have highlighted specifically the part about the apology that I’m questioning. I know he said that he let his emotions get the better of him, but it doesn’t look like an apology.

Really? You are rejecting saying that he was overly emotional in a way that he hopes he wont do again should not be framed as an apology or acceptance or wrong doing?

I think to me it doesn’t sound like he regrets the words, just the tone.

Yeah he already states his issues over the added time.

If he doubles down and ends up missing 7 or 8 games from the touchline will that have made a statement?

This is the problem he could call them cheating cunts what’s it going achieve? I’ve asked this time and time again and there is no answer. You’ll only change this by getting together eithier via the managers association or at the PL meeting and effectively voting that they are not fit for purpose.

If we want to fight, with the ultimate goal of replacing the PGMOL with something better, for the good of the game, the fight needs to be fought by someone higher up at the club than Slot.

Slot’s focus should be on the team, and winning as much silverware as we can.

Someone higher up at the club should reach out to other clubs - it could happen at the ownership level, or CEO level, but informal conversations could take place to gauge the level of dissatisfaction with the current sitiuation. I think there might be some fertile ground here, as I think a number of clubs are not happy with the officiating and the antagonistic, opaque and unaccountable culture of the PGMOL.

It’s a worthy fight to take on, for the good of the game, but it is not Slot’s fight.

Or just go off book and destroy him with dirt/blackmail/extortion etc ala Coote. If these cunts fear you they will bend. You know it’s what the cheaters are doing. This is not a fair and upstanding group, more mafiosa than Queensbury rules and playing it straight just isn’t working.

We could be awfully childish…and when the Bitters come to Anfield…however times we score…we could celebrate in front of the Bitters supporters…and laugh at them…does that seem really childish…but remember Bitters…you have to come to ANFIELD…the day of doom is up n coming…

He cheated us against Arsenal when he allowed them to kick the shit out of us and when Dias sat on the pitch looking injured after Partey kicked the shit out of him, oliver signal to him to get up inferring he was simulating, but he went off injured for 3 months after that and that took me to the Virgil injury and he did the same to him signaling to him to get up but he was injured and didn’t come back for a year.

In Germany, it’s part of the sporting director’s job to take up a row with the league, or to talk to the media about bad refereeing decisions. The coach has to stay focused on his players and on the next game, as he should.

I’d also wish for the club to be more proactive and to point out how bad/biased/corrupt the refs are, but it has to be made at a higher echelon than Slot, so that would be our SD imo. Slot and the players have to be taken out of the firing line as much as possible.

Is the the fix for the Arse to win the league…a suggestion of points deduction for the melee on Saturday…everyone else who has had trouble on the pitch…and couldnt control their teams…has had financial penaties…so why now a points deduction suggestion…oh yes…coz it was LFC…stitch up…

Who is suggesting a points deduction could be possible? It’d be unprecedented for that kind of skirmish.

Far bigger issue is Everton’s failure to control their fans. Assume that’ll get swept under the carpet because, you know, last derby at Goodison and so anything goes when it comes to them.

Also likely any suspension for Slot will now come in the City game given the due process for response.

I mentioned during the game that Cody got kicked out of the game after getting hacked off the ball without penalty and limped off in clear pain 5 mins later. Slot says he’s now a doubt for Wolves.

As far as i know its an Arsenal fan.

Arsenal and Spurs had a fisiticuffs a few years ago and it just led to suspensions.

There isn’t going to be any points deduction, worst that happens to us is Slot being banned for 2-3 games.

As far as I am aware football insider is just some wanky account linked to a betting site, if this was remotely possible then you’d see it on Sky and the BBC you wouldn’t be hearing from what is potentially a fifa bro in a basement.

They couldn’t get a points deduction on financial cheating to stick and that had actual guidelines.

The last points deduction for club behaviour was in 1989 when Arsenal got 2 points and Man U 1 for a player brawl.
