That is yet another problem to solve in the summer window. Damn it…I think Robbo’s decline is a huge surprise to everyone in the club…
His agility seems to have decreased dramatically, he turns much slower than he used to. He could rely on the opponent to make the move knowing that he could easily close the gap on him. Not any more, often times he does catch up now but by that time the shot/cross/pass is done.
Probably thought “hmmm, now what would Mason Holgate do…”
But we conceded at the back.
Last night against Everton, Liverpool had 63% possession but conceded 20 fouls.
Given the ball was in play for 54 minutes in the match, that means Liverpool conceded a foul every 59.7 seconds that Everton had possession in play.
I did mention considering bringing on Endo when we went 2 - 1 up, my thoughts was that Everton would throw the kitchen sink at us, which didn’t really realise.
I do still think it would have been prudent as he likes a tackle and is excellent at winning headers.
I think it would have been a good decision to bring Endo on. Apart from the officiating - as if the elephant in the room could ever be a small thing - we did not manage the very end of the game as well as we might, and Endo could have helped us take all three points.
Onwards and upwards. Lead extended. Seven point gap. Arsenal need three good results where we get nothing, just to get on terms. It’s not over, but we are in a great position.
Three points at Wolves please, you magnificent reds!
Will Young get a retrospective ban for the choke hold?
Its not a proper restraint effort.
Yeah, 30 games added on to Jones’ ban, and City awarded 30 points.
@Walshy07 off the top rope!!!
The sheer amount of threads on the shite’s forums titled things like “Goodbye Goodison ”. Pretty sure they have quite a few more home games to play yet, but evidently it’s only relevant when the neighbours show up.
(I blame Yanks).
Totally incompetent, and an extremely low level/standard of officiating in the PL. convinced that refs believe and probably get trained that they are the centre of attention at games, and thus leads to them being completely unable to make any kind of fair decisions during a game. I’ve no proof, but brown envelopes and drugs also play a part in their dumbass decisions
Slot has apologized saying the emotion got the better of him
Moyes has commented to say it was a young manager’s mistake.
It seems the game has accepted this was a totally justified red card and everyone has just moved on from it. All the while Mo getting hacked down on the edge of their box and getting nothing is completely absent from conversations.
I can guarantee we won’t win any points at Wolves on Sunday…
Fair enough, against Wolves it is!
