It is apt really that the last game at Goodison Park is a game like this. Like an old school 80s game.

There was not a load of quality in the game but it was wild, it had passion, it had fight.

There were a number of sending offs at the end, people wanted to antagonise each other and fight each other. It was fitting it ended in absolute chaos.

Keep possession instead of pumping it back to them and end up losing two points. It’s not rocket science ffs.

It’s a learning curve for Slot. After this season, he’ll know what’s what with regards to officiating in England.

It’s fitting we get garbage from him.

It’s all he knows.

With Mikel “The Liar” Arteta can you ever be sure?

I fancy a draw a dinner time kick off just back from Dubai.

I reckon Jurgen will be in touch and tell him, that’s why I had to get out.

We scored 2 from 4 on target, they scored 2 from 3.

Yeah, this is exactly what they wanted. As I said, this is rarely a normal game.

I don’t. I can hope for it but I sadly can’t see it.

Not going give up on West Ham doing something with Potter now in.

You make it sound very simple. We had trouble playing out through the defence all game, to do it late when Everton were all applying a high press is begging for trouble. The space was over the top and we correctly played for it - unfortunately anytime we tried to battle for the ball the referee gave Everton a foul, anytime we got the ball Everton were allowed to man-handle us off it.

I hate being the guy who blames everything on the ref but there isn’t anything else to do here. It was a shambolic performance and whatever Liverpool did he was determined to find a way of tipping the scales in Everton’s favour.

Did not know that. Prob saves him talking himself into more bother

On the balance of play I’d say a draw was reflective of the game. We controlled possession but created very little in the way of chances. They lumped the ball long but threatened a bit more with what came from that approach.

If we’d had held out I’d have felt like we’d done well to get all three but also feel both their goals had contentious aspects to them.
