Post match; Everton v Liverpool (EPL 19/4/26 2pm)

Curtis did well when coming in between Virg and Ibou to start the moves. He’s not a right back, so expected to have some difficult moments there. Everton targetted that spot many times with direct balls.

At times, Curtis also tries to be too tiday in trying to always play out his way form that position, which is a big risk. It;s ok now and again. But to always try to it will end up with the opposition being like a pack of hyenas to nick the ball, which they did.

When Frimpong came on, Slot decided to play him at right forward, so Curtis continued. Curtis shows that he can play in the deeper role in front of the defence. Should have rotated him and Grav much more this season.

Sometimes it’s easy to forget that as bad as we’ve been this season, there are 15 teams worse than us.

They just showed a short clip from our dressing room; everyone stared and remained silent, and Slot gave a speech in the middle. Afterwards, there was a brief, friendly round of applause. The atmosphere was like we had lost. Tbf

Virg may have scored a massive goal for us but no way could I have voted for him as MOTM

How fitting that the first derby at the hill of dicks was won by Salah and Virgil.

My kitchen sink will be out of order for a long time if I lay my grubby fingers on it. :man_facepalming: :winking_face_with_tongue:

Virgil’s had enough

I actually took the time to replay that goal just to watch Pickford, trying to see how he ended up on the ground. In addition to the delight of watching his own player pull him back, there is the arm-waving tantrum sat on his arse as he watches VVD wheel away.

Goodnight fellow reds, or should I say good morning, need some much needed sleep now.

I hope he goes into management after he retires. His touchline tantrums would be hilarious.

What a way to end the match and Virge has done it again when we need a crucial 3 points.

Will watch MOTD2 highlights tonight.

With regards to Robbie Fowler, wasn’t he an Evertonian growing up, I am sure?

And Carragher and Owen and Ian Rush and McManaman and quite a few more local lads

Deffo the better side, Everton have probably played better not sure if that turned up today as I’d rather watch Donald Trump wank than watch Everton.

Still I do think about 4 points does it.

I knew Carragher was, but didn’t now the others were, especially Rushi.
