Post match: Forest v Liverpool (EPL 14/1/25 8pm)

Two points dropped after a poor first 45 but a much better second half and we should have won it in the end. Diaz didn’t work tonight as nowhere for him to run, Mo had another poor night and missed a couple of chances in the second half. Next is another tough away game to Brentford.

Do they? Who you do think is going to win the title then, because only Fulham have beaten them at home this season.

He’s a big reason why they are so high in the table. He’s excellent.

No idea. It may depend on what happens in the January window.

No team looks capable of winning it do they? They all look shit. A slogfest to the finish line.

City are going out there and spending 140m on 3 players to make a difference, what will we do?

Murillo was outstanding best performer on the pitch

Smash City when we play them, probably.

A decent point all things considered. Felt like they got all of the luck and the keeper made a number of good saves, though some of the usual quality decision making and ruthlessness deserted our forwards tonight.

Would have liked to have seen two of Bradley, Chiesa and Elliott also get a chance to make an impact, a few of those performances out there tonight were well below par. Full back all of a sudden looks like an area of weakness, Robertson’s legs look like they’ve gone and Trent at times looked all at sea defensively again. Think Slot is going to have think very carefully about how he manages them both through the rest of the season.

It’s deja vu. We were in this position 12 months ago right until April when we bumped into Palace.

We could all see the collapse coming a mile off, it’s time Arne was backed. We did nothing last January, next to nothing in the summer, got nowhere with the contracts…what are we doing?

Just watching a replay now of all of Sels’ saves.

FFS…couldn’t one of those gone in?? Fuck!!

We do. Since we’ve lost one game all season, and are 6 points clear with a game in hand.

FFS.

When are we going to play a good full game, we seem to have a poor 45 and then a good one.

Oh I forgot. It’s January. There is a transfer window to win. How fucking old are you.

I don’t care what City do in the market.

We’ve been brilliant this season. Had a wobble in the last couple of season which has resulted in us drawing a couple.

We look capable of winning, on the basis that we’re the favourites, are six points clear with a game in hand and over the season we’ve been the best team.

But that means nothing does it. Man City are spending £140m on players. Jesus Christ.

Disappointed with the draw, we were the better team. Some poor individual performances as well. Let’s hope we get the win against Brentford come Saturday

On the Salah penalty situation, did VAR have a look at it? Looked very suspicious to me :man_shrugging:

Attack was poor today

I did think he made a meal of the one that Mo tried to bend in the far corner otherwise very good, especially on Jota’s, came out quick to narrow the angle.

He’d rather we were spending £140m and sitting in 6th place

Disapointing however we knew scoring against Forest would be difficult. They bullied us we need to get up to premier league physicality.

Arne speaks Arabic!!

Clever cloggs!

P’raps Arne will have a wry smile…at least Forest didnt win this time…fgs…onwards n upwards…cmon boys start to turn the screw…

And if Arne wants to get on with the players he has and doesn’t want new players to integrate, are you backing him on that?
