I really doubt that’s true. If Slot was point blank refusing to speak to Salah, the leadership group would have communicated that back to Hughes and Edwards and Slot would already be gone.

And to be fair to Slot his focus should 100% be on getting results right now and the team out of this slump.
It’s not as if many of them are really doing enough to be picked every week. If Salah is more worried about himself after not starting just three games then I’m sorry but I find it hard to side with him on this.
Unless someone else breaks ranks and stands behind him on this I can’t see it as anything but selfish on his part.

Unless it turns out we’ve fucked up the payroll and he’s not getting his £400k a week then it’s baffling to think there are any other promises he could possibly need to be lived up to. He’s been playing, he’s been wank, he’s been benched and he’s immediately trying to leave.
Slot deserves to go for how he’s managed this squad but Salah probably needs to go too. The club bentover backwards to accomodate him for his last contract - and based on what he is delivering he is no longer worth it.
If you can’t age gracefully and accept a steadily deminishing role then go and age on someone else’s pitch.

Not that I can remember. The whole thing is a fucking shit-show.
It’s like Slot has decided to make an example of Salah in much the same way he made an example of Quansah in a desparate attempt to save his job. The thing is Salah deserved to be dropped a long time ago but Slot didn’t have the balls to do it.
Slot is 100% done at this club, Salah might not be. Time will tell.

I agree, he should be sold. I’m not convinced he will be though.
He should have had the conversation with him in the summer, that he wouldn’t play every game. Then ‘rested’ him every now and then.
Instead he plays him for 90-99 minutes in every match then belatedly drops him for 3 in a row
