One thing that Jurgen knew, that Edwards and his number crunches never give credit to, is heart and desire outweigh stats. Spunk a bunch of money on players that are all talent, but lack the desire for a fight. Probably why Jurgen and Edwards didn’t get along.

With such poor showing game after game, does anyone have any idea what are they working on during practices?
Suppose we were due a few draws, just didn’t think they’d come against the newly promoted boys.
The mentally in this team is shocking, Arne Slot has turned this side into feeble, weak minded midgets.

Only Nottingham Forest (11) have conceded more goals from set-pieces in the Premier League this season (excluding penalties) than Liverpool (10).
That is more than the Reds shipped from set-plays in the whole of 2024-25 in the league (nine).

Well that was the most disappointing collapse I’ve ever had the displeasure of viewing.
We were up comfortably 2-0 thanks to two brilliant Ekitike goals. And then the downfall starts with Konate’s penalty on a foolish slide tackle in the penalty area.
We thought Szoboszlai had rescued the match to put us up 3-2 but we give up a soft goal in the 95th minute thanks to being unable to defend a corner properly. Our set piece defense looks in shambles this season.
Honest question - Should we sell Konate this winter window? He has been awful for Liverpool in important moments. He has good physical attributes but his mistakes feel far too costly.
Whatever credit Slot had in the bank has surely run out, hasn’t it? 5 points from Forest, West Ham, Sunderland, and Leeds?
The bill has come due.
