Just want to get this over the line now so we can get fucking smashed on multiple occasions and boil piss on an industrial scale.
The actual football can get in the bin. Half-arsed, slow, laborious, lacking conviction…I hope to fuck we’re not watching what we’ve watched post-Newcastle (at Anfield) next season because if we are I’m done.
You can call it cry-arsing, ungrateful, entitled or whatever you want, the fact is the last 2 months have seen the worst football from a Liverpool team in well over a decade.
Gave MOTM votes to VVD, Grav and Tsimikas but the current standings suggest I was watching a different match.

Harsh I think. We were, understandably poor in the season we had no centre backs, and a decade takes us back to 2015, pre Klopp.
We totally dominated Leicester and should have had three or four. It was only our finishing that was off really.

I’ll call an over exaggerated mistruth, which it is.

We have been a poor compared to our early season form but this ain’t the worst in 10 years. They’re still picking up results and the football has been worse at multiple points in the past 10 years

If Bradley is to be TAAs replacement id suggest a summer in the gym and a diet of egg whites and chicken.
He needs to beef up. Far to lightweight.

Didn’t we go ten games on the spin without picking up a point when we were struggling after winning the league?

Yeah hes gone. Great moment for him today.

How many times have we said that? We are the most profligate team in the division by some distance.
We did dominate Leicester, that much is true, but it was like watching a half-asleep cat toy with a mangled sparrow instead of putting it out of it’s misery.

We need multiple January dips under Klopp, the one year we didn’t we won the league.

The game that sticks out for me is the 7-2 loss to villa, genuinely piss boiling.

Thankfully we’re on track to finish a great season off with a league title  not that some people will appreciate it

Multiple points in the last 10 years?

There may have been times when it has dropped off which is only natural, but what I watched today was a team that is trying to win a league title, is virtually full-strength and was playing a beaten, shambles of a team, and yet at no point did I think the game was won.

No.

We struggled because our 4 CB’s were all crocked at the same time and we ended up playing our best CM’s as CB’s. Plus we were carrying the usual 3 or 4 sick-notes.
The circumstances now are the polar opposite but I don’t remember the football being as turgid as it has been the last 2 months.

Lucky you, some of us aren’t as forgetful :man_shrugging:

Next week we’re going to win the league and I will dance and sing with joy.
If other fans want to wallow in misery in the hour of our triumph, that’s up to them.
I’ve experienced enough desolate seasons to appreciate the good times when they come along.

It’s odd because last season the football post the Man Utd league game was poor.

We’ve had worse spells in:

2020-21
2022-23
2023-24

Pre Covid I think we didn’t have many bad spells but Klopp’s first season was average. February has basically taken it out of us but saying that we’ve at least got results in the league.

We also had a really shit run after the near quadruple season.

Look, I get we’re not playing well, but in all honesty I totally understand why we are struggling. I heard the analogy the other day, that the players are trying to carry a Ming vase through a crowded room. We have been odds on for this thing for ages - can you imagine if we’d managed to throw it away. The players are nervous and tired. When we win the league you’ll see the weight lift off the players shoulders.
