I’m going to have a look at their riveting doc “Man in the Middle”.
No, William, Bernardus, Antonio. Also known as Bill in O’Casey’s and the rest of The Hague.
Obey the principles without being bound by them- Bruce Lee.
And there he is, thanks.
Shame you don’t type it.
Glad he seems confident of the potential injuries
Kelleher MOTM for me. Neco also did well.
Jota’s first touch let him down.
Actually with the Robbo one it reminds me of when you have an slight issue that occasionally flares up, I sometimes get it in one or two fingers and will strap them up at half time.
Isn’t it nice and relaxing to watch a game where offside is offside clear and signaled at an appropriate moment?
Saying that the Salah one might have been interesting if he had actually scored.
I don’t think Denmark is as midgy in winter haha
It is nice to see Klopp smiling again well until the pre-match game presser on Saturday?
i havent see n the game yet as ive been at work.
i voted curtis Jones becuase i dont care how he played i just want to get MOTM.
is that wrong of me?
Great stuff from the knackered, patched-up Reds.
5 days rest now before Wolves, that’s a decent enough turnaround, and then rest every fucker for the game in Denmark.
3 players I was most worried about, Kelleher, Williams and Jones, were the best players on the pitch.
Even Jürgen seems flabbergasted at the monster mentality of the young Reds.
As @Flobs said he wasn’t brilliant, however, imo he was MotM. It was a big game to make your CL debut and he handled it (cheeky pun) well, as if he was a first team regular.
Funny, because when I heard Allison was injured and seen his (Kelleher’s) name in the starting 11, i actually felt more relaxed than if I had seen Adrian’s and thankfully he backed it up
It was quite nervy before Jones put us 1 up. The most important thing is getting the three points and securing the group, now we can rest some players. The front three all had their chances but all were way off the mark. I am a little worry about the front three not so much of their individual form but their cohesion as an attacking unit. Back in the days when they were popping in the goals for fun we were so lethal on the counter, nowadays, it seems like they are more worry about individual stats then finding the best options to score. Mo for example is so adamant that he needs to score the next goal that he would hold on to the ball too long and turn a deadly counterattack into nothing. Mane and Jota are guilty of the same thing today. The boss needs to have a talk with them and straighten a few things up.
Caohmin Kelleher is our No.2 now, I think he made a couple of fabulous stops, he’s more calm with the ball and he keeps it simple. It gives confidence to the whole back line. Where as Adrian brings a lot chaos and instability
Shout-out for Jones and Nico Williams, both played wonderful today. Jones played with a lot more confidence once he scored that goal. Both of them did really well tracking back today as well.
Gravenbeh we need to sign him from Ajax, he would fit nicely with our group and a good replacement for Gini.
On to Wolves for the weekend, finally get to see some fans at Anfield. Hopefully this is a sign for more fans to come in the future.
YNWA
Debut in the champions league for a third choice keeper and the minor mistakes he made could be counted on one hand, sorry but I’ll class that as brilliant.
If you really want to make the points I spotted three, twice he probably should have come and collected the ball in the first half and the save he made when they hit the post should have been better handled, saying that he pushes it wide so making the angle far harder to score from.
Other than that one wayward kick which I’ve seen some goalkeepers do for a lifetime and not be picked up in (Lloris and Pope are two of the worst and yet it’s never mentioned).
