2-0 clean sheet a happy Salah despite not scoring and 3 points. What’s not to like?

I think it’s working. Apparently, you can teach an old dog new tricks. (I’m not actually a dog)

Was Thomas Tuchal at the match?
Curtis seemed to play an excellent game today.

Jones linking the midfield to the defence is cathartic to watch after seeing us toil all season in passing it out from the back.

Another solid outing for Kerkez, looks happier on that flank with with Wirtz ahead of him.

Ekitike MOTM of course, there’s no keeping him out the side now.

He’s setting in nicely now. Less of the headless chicken about him.

Is that the best place for Wirtz though?

Jones was outstanding today. So comfortable on the ball.Good 3 points and no goals conceded. Hopefully Gomez is ok.

It will change and adapt at this moment he’s getting minutes and we will see him develop.

A rigid selection just completely breaks down if you get an injury.

No word on him yet. It’s a worry, because he has been a real asset for the last few matches.

Its nice to see that the change of system has brought us more stability, but I think fielding all of our midfielders is not sustainable as there’s risks for injuries. Hopefully we find a way to get the attackers fit in the system better.

I have to say that I have worn my new diogo j. shirt every game since west ham and we’re undefeated. Will be wearing it every game until the end of the season.

Understood. But not really knowing him before he came to Liverpool I’m just curious as to what his best position is. The other day he was playing more centrally and looked v. dangerous.

Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com post-match, head coach Slot said: "If I have a player who goes off with a muscle injury like Joe, that’s normally not a positive thing.

"I would not expect him to be in the squad next week [at Tottenham Hotspur]. But sometimes you get a positive surprise.

"People now maybe understand a bit better why I was always so cautious not to play him so many games. I assume many people thought, ‘If you have a defender, if you have a right full-back, why don’t you play him?’

"And Dom, it was his ankle. It didn’t look great when I just saw him. But he has unbelievable mentality so let’s hope for the best.

You know you must be doing well when the almighty reds aint been seen much last 2 games calling for slot to be sacked .

I actually had him as one of 3 MotM, but reconsidered my vote and only voted for 2. But he was up there, while he played. He had a real good game. But in retrospect, maybe not MotM material.

Yes Jones has been very good, hard to use a single word to describe the change from him in the last couple of weeks, it’s not just down to maturity

He seems to have said, fuck it ,give me the ball and I will orchestrate, I will dominate and I will be the leader. Showing the player he can be and I think we have a style that helps him with more options to feet centrally that he can link with.

Keep it up Curtis :clap::clap::clap::clap:
