I thought it was a good game.
If ever thereās an argument to get rid of extra time and go straight to pens then yesterdays extra time has just helped that.
Both teams had given everything and had nothing left after a long season.
Thought Hendo was excellent yesterday. Everyone played well.
Really thought we had blown it when Mane missed pen but Alisson pulled off that great save.

Yeah I had him as well - whenever chelsea got a free kick it was a foul and Mane and Thiago especially were described as lucky not to get carded. Whenever we complained or even got a free kick there was ānothing in itā or we were āmaking the most of itā. This continued rhetoric around fouls is part of why we get so fee pens.

Watched the match with my daughterās new boyfriend who happens to be a Chelsea fanā¦sat there in his mason mount top 
When Sadio missed his penalty he was up screaming and shouting whilst I was sat there calmly just knowing that we are LFC.
Was fitting that mount missed his penalty and it was glorious.
Fuck you Chelsea FCā¦you aināt got no history

Truly a team full of top performances but how ridiculous that 3 days after that mammoth effort that must have drained every ounce of energy and left brains feeling like they had been in a heavy weight boxing match, the guys have to travel to Southampton for a league match. !
They deserve better.

Got back from Wembley about midnight and was fairly merry, having lost my voice singing all day. Great atmosphere yesterday, and a good performance from all.
Klopps completed the set. Now to see what else we can add this season.

I did pedalos last weekend. Utterly screwed afterwards. Had to go and change and spent the rest of the weekend limping.

I cried in the ground. Over 50 years ago I fell in love with The Reds watching them lose an FA Cup Final to Arsenal. I absolutely LOVE us winning this cup.

I think theyāre talking about the major trophies. Europa League and conference are IMO seen as a runners up comp. Nice to win, but not the biggy.

Oh my effin head. Did we win a match yesterday?
Canāt believe this one went to penalties again as we had so many chances to finish it. Very pleased to win this as it was always the biggie and one that we never seemed to win (although I was in the crowd in 1986).
I suspect the next game will be ver heavily rotated given all the tired legs.
MotM? Too many to pick from but Diaz was superb throughout.

I was working so couldnāt watch the game but was able to get the penalties on the radio. Donāt have much to add that hasnāt been said already.
Drove home absolutely blaring the Jamie Webster songs. After all the standard Liverpool songs another one of his came on called āThis Placeā. Iāve not missed England at all since I moved to the US in October 2020 but I will say that that song combined with the cup win made me a bit nostalgic for Liverpool and looking forward to showing my kids where I grew up.
Other than that, is it blasphemous to say Iāve enjoyed this season more than 19/20? Winning the league was great but it became a bit boring once we got clear of the pack, I love how this season every game has mattered.
