Former Arsenal and West Ham player in the 80’s. Also played for England U21s. Think he played midfield and full back.
Trent’s pass to Diaz in the first half was fantastic. As was his penalty and reaction to scoring it
It’s not my view but I thought this was fucking funny
LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
even the millions of miles away i can understand why…i wouldnt begrudge any northern team giving it the big boo…fuck me…i love the english but seriously, do you seriously wonder why???
i might get my mate @Jaffod to layout the case for the defencein his own diplomatic style…
Ah, the good old Daily Fail.
Did anyone actually hear any booing yesterday? I certainly didn’t.
The Mail is putrid.
I heard booing and I was happy about it. I love the fact that we are a cheeky bunch of anti-authority renegades. It’s what makes us so loveable.
I don’t understand why we have to pay repect to an institution that goes against the very democratic principles that the country is supposed to stand for, but that’s another debate.
I mean it’s a penalty!! Why are they getting so steamed on Mason? What about Azpilicueta?
Credit to the players, Klopp and his staff. Chelsea are a very strong team and they are the current European and World club champions.
The penalties are a lottery and I am glad that we won, especially being without 2 of our best penalty takers /Fabinho and Salah/.
Alisson was superb, hopefully he is ok after that nasty knock from Alonso.
In defence our best player was Konate, he is only 22 years old, but this season he has been solid, dependable and a top class addition. In this case Bayern Munich look like fools, most of the time they pick the best player from a German club and let the others sign the inferior players. Well, not this time. They signed Upamecano and at the moment are probably looking with envy at the player who was rock solid in the FA cup final.
Robbo looked jaded and in my opinion he needs a rest. Yesterday he was not at his best, but the amount of football matches he played this season is crazy. And it is pretty normal to see players on the brink of physical collapse - getting injured, tired and looking out of form after playing 60+ matches for club and country /Salah, VvD, Fabinho/.
Overall Trent played better than Robertson and offensively he was once again fantastic /especially that pas for Diaz/, but he needs to be much, much better defensviely against Vinicius.
In midfield huge compliments for Hendo, an accomplished performance from the captain. As I wrote several times, Jordan is much better option as number 6 at this moment of his Liverpool career. Thiago was very good too, hopefully he will be fine after that brutal challenge from James. Naby also with a solid performance, we need all of our midfielders fit for the final in Paris.
And in attack solid performance from all of them. This time Jota played a very good match and was responsible defensively. Maybe this injury to Salah is blessing in disguise, give him 10 days of rest and total recovery, a breathe of fresh air for him before the final.
Diaz voted for MoM and the boy is a fanatstic football player, but as Klopp said - he had to score at least one of his chances. This summer the coaching staff must work very hard on his finishing and I have no doubt that he will improve.
Mane is a revelation in his new position and he could be our long term choice for a number 9. He is learning the demands and the responsibilities of playing as a number 9 and his goals and overall contribution prove it.
FSG have a lot of things to do this summer. More than 100 mln. pounds won from the CL. And 3 important players will soon have less than 12 months left on their contracts with the club. Keita, Salah and Mane.
Klopp said several times he wants to keep Milner too and in my opinion if we can afford to lose any of our important players next summer, it is Firmino. If this club wants to fight for the biggest trophies, we need competition and deep squad. Konate and Diaz are a real proof for that. Keeping our best players and adding at least one quality midfielder is the next step. Kids like Ramsay, Carvalho will be a good addition to the squad, but it is easy to see the impact of Luiz Diaz. 25 years old player entering his best years and galvanazing the whole place with his energy and quality.
Predictably, their crusade for freedom of speech in the face of ‘cancel culture’ falls at the point where someone expresses a dislike of something they cherish.
Their shitty “patriotic” outrage deserves nothing but a backhanded slap
Would you rather live in a country where freedom of speech is forbidden? I think it’s bad enough that the sound was censored so you can’t hear the booing anymore.
Anthem was booed. Prince was booed each time he was trotted out.
Fucking hilarious. Fuck the Royals.
Why is this new? Us Welsh and the Scots have been booing that stupid excuse of a song for decades.
Glad to see some Scouse brothers waking up to it.
Crikey, it’s worse than your average UK Eurovision entry.
Cheaty, Chavs, Spuds - six games, all ‘six pointer’ games. We managed just the one on each occasion. My point.
I’m amazed at his bravery!!
