But as I showed, it isn’t necessarily what may cost us the title this year as we’ve dropped more points from teams outside of the Chelsea and City games - games that we would ordinarily expect to take points more frequently from than we would against Chelsea and City.
Yeah, beat Brentford and Brighton and none of that matters.

yea when it comes to down to just losing the league on that odd point or goal differences, then every single point we dropped regardless of opposition made the crucial difference. We still have a chance with the league of course albeit that it takes nothing short of miracles and like Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey told us “There can be miracles~~~~~”

When we are in another season where we are set to break 90 points I find it weird to talk about where we “lost it”. We’ve had a great season, City just had a great league campaign also.
No shame in not winning the league when you get a points total that beats almost every other League winner in the history of the league.

Just another thought about the penalty shootout. Was it advisable for Mané to be in the initial 5 takers? He must have practiced with Mendy for Senegal so does that tend to favour the keeper?
I can’t fault him for volunteering as we were without two of our regular takers but Mendy did guess correctly which way he was going.
According to Klopp, he told Mane to shoot the opposite way to where he normally would to stop Mendy guessing it. Then he said he learned he should just shut up and let the players get on with it.
