No, I actually didn’t think it broadcasted on TV in UK until the finals…only yesterday I realised it was on BBC3

4 hours is enough for me haha

Thought it was a great match from both sides but we won.

MotM Diaz, unbelievable what he has brought to the club in such a short time. Trent, Thiago, Konaté, Becker and Henderson were great too.

Missing the Europa League. Let’s hope he never has to think about it…

Incredible scenes.

We had no right to plumb new reserves of inner strength, but we somehow did it.

Lost Salah, lost Van Dijk, team looked dead on its feet. Played really well, missed chances to win it earlier. Chelsea were well rested, having had nothing to play for in the longest time, and they came ready to spoil our party, but somehow we got it done anyway.

So proud of them all.

The Prem looks a step too far, but you never say never. Man City are cheats and if they do it nobody will care - not because the whole country loves us, as Pep says (they don’t) but because the good British sense of fair play is not having it about Man City. Well done. Polite applause from neutrals at best, but we all know the score. Still, maybe, just maybe they will drop enough points.

And a CL final against Real Madrid to come. Mouthwatering.

Get some rest boys. On the bus home, mind. There’s another game kicking off in five minutes!

FA Cup Champions. Brilliant!

It really was never in doubt for me at HT it was going to pens and I was wrong about who was going to win them. What an amazing team. I won’t doubt them ever again.

Anyhow very tough match, think we were better in this than the last final and that spell before full time was quality.

Alisson made some important saves and as much as I love Kelleher I was more worried about his injury than Salah’s (though hopefully will be ok in 2 weeks).

Diaz deserved more and had Mendy beaten on his chances. Jota came on and stepped up. Konate gave Lukaku very little that he didn’t handle and I’m hopeful VVD was more of a he is spent change which I’m honest he looked it in the last two at the end.

Henderson did well as did Thiago and Keita and it’s deffo what we have going forward.

Trent was amazing and Robertson very good. Milner, Matip and Tsimikas (with the pen) did the job.

Mane continues to be better in that middle role but with Firmino and Salah concerns it’s best to manage him.

If West Ham win then Klopp will have a hell of a decision to make but for tonight enjoy our second trophy of the season and the one I most miss winning in the modern era.

Pftt I escaped upstairs to watch football while the semi finals were on. However, a disclaimer, I have actually met a band who were runners up to represent Finland in Eurovision.

Happy days but hoping, begin crossing fingers / everything that the injuries aren’t too bad.

That was an expensive game in that sense.

My MotM choices were Alisson, Thiago and Diaz. A 4th choice would have gone to Konate.

2 down.
