It’s just like real life, not everything goes your way in real life but Klopp has given us a real ride to remember for the rest of our lives
Yeah, and generally I’m guessing the team selection will depend on the outcome of West Ham vs City. If City win that, I think we’ll see ten changes to the starting XI.
I think I might be adding up wrong but that is our 50th major honour, isn’t it?
19 + 6 + 8 + 3 + 9 + 4 + 1
Yes Man Ure miles behind on 45
I would ban him from preseason just so that he doesn’t pickup any bad habits.
Diaz gets me off my seat. He is deffo similar to Suarez in play, one of those players and we don’t have many.
Ive had this gif since the kangaroo cup final and i keep forgetting to use it. Seems appropriate to bring it out now. Big Jimmy Milner to Chelski
Wouldn’t SBYM post some gems from Red Cafe?
Great day, lads and ladesses!!! YEAHHHH!!!
The game, while lively, lacked a bit of goals to become a classic. But yet again, our lads overcame a really tough opponent, some events going against them, and the tiredness, which must be immense at this point.
But had they had their scoring boots on, they could have blitzed them in the first twenty minutes. After that, it got a bit more difficult, Chelsea got into the game, they had their chances too. But it was one of these weird games where everything fizzes just off the post, or on it (twice for us and once for them). And when for once it’s on target, the keeper makes a worldie.
That’s why my nomination for MoM is Alli. What a keeper! He won it for us during the 120 minutes and then with that class save at the end against Mound. Nominations go to Trent who was both excellent at the back and in his build-up play, and Diaz, who really deserved a goal for his efforts, but it wasn’t his day in that sense.
But all players gave their all, also the ones coming on from the bench. Kudos to them all, and time to celebrate. I hope that the city of Liverpool will receive the trophy as it deserves in due time, it should be epic!!!
Now the dust has settled just want to say what a great SQUAD effort this was. Everyone gave an absolute 100% for the cause. A brilliant team effort
