Chillwell looked like an idiot, mouthing at young lads. As you say, in amateur football he would be nursing himself after a two foot tackle to rattle his bones.
He looked a twat, hope he is proud of his captains performance.
Watching that I feel Diaz will be ok

Carabao Cup Final
Match Report:
It was an early start to get down to Wembley - I was up well before my alarm…. Never sleep well before a big match.
Made it to Wembley and met my lot… but we were too late for box park so went to the fan zone which was good but cold.
Atmosphere was edgy. No Mo, no Darwin or Dom…. Forget the others… we had to believe…. Back to what Jurgen told us the very first time. Believers.
And so the whistle went and we were off.
Good start, this was a match. Our usual team would destroy this lost…. But we didn’t have them.
Decisions for and against. Gravenberch injured…. Later see that should have been a red.
Chelsea scored but was miles offside from where we were…. Yet took var an age.
We score but taken off us.
As we got to 75 mins, the legs started going. Needed freshening up but our bench was kids or those coming back from injury… how was this going to go. Vs Chelsea bench of pace and experience.
And to extra time. Take penalties at this stage. Just prepare myself for the worst and be grateful we got Wembley again.
And then……
Omg……
……… with just minutes left……

The Liverpool end went ballistic. Sea of red smoke. Wild scenes. How even can this happen?
Surely the kids have school tomorrow and homework, and spelling tests on Monday morning… but here they are living and breathing Jurgens contagious charisma and belief.
I love our club. I love our fans. Only we create this type of drama…. Time and time again.
Ok it’s only the carabao cup…. But this win was sweeter than the 2 cups we won in 2022. This was us on the floor. But we got up and found the killer punch.
Lucho…. He was gone. His legs only kept him standing. But how he fought on just got the rest of them more fired up.
And the final whistle blew.
We may have won a cup today, but what we actually did was complete Part 1 of what Jurgen said to us.
To win a final like that, against that money…. It was all heart and belief. What Jurgen is, what we are.
How do you ever match that or explain it to someone who doesn’t get football. He’s imprinted a DNA or rather reminded us…. But it exudes throughout.
On my train home now…. I know something else has happened today that I will not forget.
And this is what it’s about.
We sang “every single thing will be alright” …. And I think I need to hear this. Because Jurgens time is closing - but his and Shanklys spirit will live on… this much I know.
