Unfortunately, hasnāt been good enough for us.
Sad business, as I love Harvey Elliott. He is a very good player, but sort of caught between two stools for us, position wise, and lacks the last couple of percent in speed and/or physicality. I hate saying that because he has so many other plus points.
He played over 100 games for us which is great at his age, but it does look like an exit is on the cards. The emotions it stirs up get to me. Heās a lad who would give everything to be able to stay, but, probably, the door at Liverpool is closing for him and it is heart breaking.
Hold your head up high Harvey lad. You are one of us and you will never walk alone.
Thatās the price of success. If heād been around in the pre-Klopp era, he probably would have been able to tie down a spot in the team.
There are now quite a few players who didnāt quite make it for us who are doing well in the PL. Solanke, Wilson, Williams and others. Youād expect him to have a similar career.
