I do think that Prickford 's assault was the worst.
That’s clear cut assault. Just because there’s been a whistle blown before doesn’t mean that Prickford can cynically kick at a player with no intent of getting the ball.
PL match officials have always been soft on him. Just surprised why his behaviour isn’t being given due prominence.

If the whistle went you could not punch a player. If the final whistle had gone and you ran up and kicked some like that you would get a red.

Yeah, both. 75% incompetence and 25% bias/agenda against LFC.
Jones got sent off for pushing one of theirs after the final whistle in the reverse fixture. Perhaps he should have just booted him up in the air as that’s clearly allowed.

When the same player/s in the side, keep doing the same shithouse tactics of endangering players of the opposition… then ultimately, the buck needs passing up the chain - Moysey / Dyche / Ancelotti etc… By failing to cut out this behaviour, it shows an incompetence within their psyche, as a football manager.
With every red card issued for violent conduct / endangerment… maybe now is the time to go after the clubs themselves… bring huge fines into the equation… clubs will soon act if it means it costs them big bucks

I remember the one derby being less shithousery then again I think it’s the one Anthony Taylor actually managed quite well.
There’s a thread on WSAG with about 100 replies that vary between ‘perfectly good tackle’ and ‘pity he didn’t snap his leg’.
Anybody admitting it should have been a red caveats it by saying they were happy to see it/ wishing Macca was seriously injured.

Nice of PGMOL to apologise for getting it wrong again to our detriment. Maybe one day I’ll see them issue an apology to an opposition team when they’ve fucked up in our favour but there’s a fair chance I’ll be dead by then.

Look at his face. That spells 100% intent. He went in to hammer MacAllister and had the foot been planted that was a career ender.
I saw a similar challenge in a Sunday league match. The perpetrator got battered and none of his team mates waded in. They knew it was an assault and left him to defend himself.
Macca should have told him to fuck off after the match, instaed of accepting his mealy mouthed apology.

Oh the irony of someone complaining about dickhead Everton fans. The same person who has previously wanted opponents to suffer career ending injuries including wanting to see one lad so badly injured that the bone would be sticking out of his sock… yep we have our fair share of dickhead fans too.

Was saying the exact same thing to the missus this morning. Had to explain how the only possible explanation for the guy on VAR not calling it a RC is because he doesn’t want his refereeing mate to look like a twat. My suggestion is that the Refs ref and that VAR is manned by a totally independent cast of actors.
