The intensity we played with was pleasing. Outran the opposition by some distance as well, rather than the pedestrian stuff we’ve been served up recently.

Yes, we missed plenty of chances, but the way we went about the game was most important.

And to add, the Alexis ruled out goal was a complete joke.

That was worth watching. It could easily have been 10-0. Great performance throughout from the lads. :+1:

Salah my MoM for the night. Two crucial assists at the right time, and a peach of a 50th goal in the CL for us. Mentions for Szobo and Kerkez, who was an absolute devil tonight in terms of going into the challenges.

Loved the passion on the touchline as well. Slot felt the energy of Anfield it seems. So much anger at first, and so much joy when the goals came. Almost Klopp-like. :joy:

Where has this team been for the last six months. They cut out the side to side passing the tempo that they played at hasn’t been seen all season and we finally looked like title holders. Hopefully they can carry on like this until the end of the season.

Very good performance and deservedly into the last 8, Galatasaray were shocking in truth, even Spurs came to Anfield and gave a better account of themselves…no idea how these managed to beat us twice.
