Don’t vote MotM, no-one deserves it.
However, if you really want to vote tonight…
Slow, predictable, shite football.
Reminded me of latter-era Houllier, that.
Dire.
As one eloquent member that lasted of a week, once said “Shit on a stick on a beach”. It is unfortunately worse.
Can we add “mild dissapointment” to the MOTM votes in future ![]()
“Operation Anfield Exercise” was probably the most interesting thing in that game.
The midfield is light-years behind where it was last year.
All the other problems are flowing from this.
The only positives are Ngumoha and the clean sheet.
A dreadful spectacle otherwise.
People keep raving about Jones’ performances, but I don’t see it. He’s slow and misplaces too many balls.
Great start to the new year
But, but, but, we won the league last year.
But, but, but, we in the top 4.
But, but, but, we still in the FA cup.
But, but, but, we still in the CL.
We had more days to prepare than Leeds. We were playing at home. We had more than enough quality in the matchday squad to beat them.
Wanted 4 points from Leeds and Fulham. It’s still possible but Fulham will be more difficult than today.
Controlled first half but didn’t create enough against an organised Leeds.
2nd half was awful. Dom wasn’t his usual all action self, Wirtz looked slightly off pace. Subs made us worse, and as much as I appreciate Grav, he’s slowing the game down too much recently.
I miss last season Mac so much.
Rio IMO might have made a bigger impact without Gakpo crowding the left side.
Plenty of ball but never looked like scoring.
