There’s no reason for us not to be good at set pieces. Dom and others can put in great deliveries. Virg and Konate are two monsters. We’ve seen that Ekitike can be strong in the air. Then maybe someone could remind Gakpo and Grav that they are 6’4

Turns out that Wirtz played having trained just once due to a hamstring complaint.
Slot’s risk with him didn’t pay off in the slightest.

Was gobsmacked at how poor his performance was, did his shit footballing doppelganger sneak on instead.
He just seemed to lose all motor functons involving his legs.
And this is from someone who loves the way he normally plays

On the last bit about Frimpong, he ghosted the full back several times with his pace 1st half, but never got the ball in the same positions to do it again in the 2nd half.
On a similar note why doesn’t Hugo use his pace more, he did it one time 2nd half and flashed past his opponent.
We need to get our players that have pace to utilise it more.

The stands seemed (understandably) quiet throughout. Was also a shame to see loads of people leave when we still had 6-7 minutes to find a winner. Feels like all the work Klopp did to connect fans with the team has been gradually lost

That’s how I’m starting to feel.
There’s nothing I can do or say that will turn things around. The players coaching staff and Slot and everyone else involved all need some red hot 
chilli peppers rammed up their parked arses.
At least the panic didn’t last too long in the second half however the desperation was there.
When there’s just 30 seconds left and Szoboszlai keeps the ball all that time ignoring easy forward passes you just give up, not a clue!

I noticed that as well and was shocked. That should be read as a bad sign for Slot. If the match-going fans don’t believe anymore that we can win a football match, then it doesn’t bode well for his future at the club.
I wonder what Klopp thinks about all this. He must be disappointed, seeing his carefully assembled squad of champions being sold off to the next best bidder during the summer, replaced with unmotivated and injury prone lads, and Slot shitting the bed time and time again, apparently unable to motivate his players to give their all, or at least to organise them into a functioning unit.

Unbeaten in 7 or 8 but no performance has been convincing.
The moment a team applies pressure we shit the bed.
Ok Slot has stopped the defeats but weve played what, 19 games in league and not been good for 90 in any of them.
I cant see slot turning this around. I think hes gone in the summer and both him and players know it.

I’ve been one of the more positive posters on Slot but rapidly losing faith. I get that we needed to tighten up for a bit after our losing streak, but just not seeing anything to get excited or hopeful about. Starting to dread our games rather than look forward to them.
If there’s a possibility to get Alonso in before next season then I hope they’re working on it
