It was on sky and it was a repeat… I doubt very few tuned it to watch it as live and if you were a Leeds fan you’d have switched off long before then
If he had gone down then he wouldn’t have got anything.
Bielsa’s Leeds with Bamford are a different animal. I really hope they stay up.
Really doesn’t seem hopeful he will be back soonish
Out of all the teams that could go down they would be very low on my list. Still want Newcastle or Everton to drop doubt both will but Burnley are fighting to stay up and they don’t bother me so much anymore.
Champagne football today….such a joy to watch this side.
Next time the “Best all time Liverpool 11” are debated there are a couple of players out there today that are in. And possibly 2 more after a few more years in the side.
Anyway back to the game our No. 6 is supreme.
that was my take exactly.
i didnt think it was a foul at all, just a coming together of players going for the ball…however…if it has to be a foul…surely the fouls ON Alison, not BY Alison, the only reason Alisons heel from his standing leg hits the ball is becuase of the sidewards pressure…especially when you look at how every other attempt on a goalkeeper goes…
i think Dermot missed a point when he just said no penalty, he should have put them in thier place…‘no penalty, no foul, but if there was, the foul was ON the keeper…i thought you guys knew stuff about footer?’
drumming up talking points, but was really pour form to me from Sherwood and Kewell…if they were looking for controversy, id be talking about our second Pen…very soft…very very soft
And remember friends at £50m. Dan James cost more than our Luis Diaz…! Crazy eh
And Salah, Mane, Jota, Thiago…
Given how Leicester and Tottenham have been playing recently, I’m not sure which game I’m annoyed more about dropping points.
The usual suspects gave been mentioned but I’ll give a shout-out to Jones. He grew into the game and eventually helped the midfield run like a well-oiled machine. Some eye-catching skills thrown in there for good measure.
Spurs was a bit of a screw job to be honest. Leicester we deserved to lose, not particularly on the chances but our play in the second half was crap.
Didn’t we have three on target shots blocked by our own players on Saturday?
Complete team performance, we were that good we helped the opposition keep it respectable
I was fecking fewming at the Leeds counter incident. As you say, Mo was sprinting back. Trent in who’s area the attack was occuring was just strolling back and was still in the Leeds half when the move was stopped.
The Leicester game for me. Drawing with Spurs had nothing to do with how we played and everything to do with the ref’s performance. We had an off day against Leicester.
Spurs are a weird team though.
In 4 games they’ve lost at home to Saints, lost at home to Wolves, won away at City then lost to Burnley !!!
… Me what are they doing?
6-0 is double my demands.
Matip my MOTM great goal, let’s have some more.
I must have fallen asleep, very tired, as I don’t remember much after 3-0 certainly not 3 more goals.
I think some other team is shitting themselves.
Thumping, we’re coming after you win. Now let’s fuck that Russian shite over on Sunday. Hopefully the FA will put sanctions on Chelsea. Let’s see the team stand up for Ukraine.
I found it annoying that Martin Tyler kept going on about how Pascal S has become friends with Elliott. Yeah how about becoming friends and NOT wrecking his ankle?
I absolutely despise the club, but as a team they are difficult to dislike. Very entertaining to watch play (the 6-0 was somewhat brutal), and generally they don’t crowd the ref, not much in the way of simulation. I’d much rather have a home-away pair every year against them than the likes of Burnley these past few years.
Just got to see the game.
Absolutely delighted with the 3 pts. Clean sheet and closing the gap to 3 points at the top. Be nice to go gathering cups starting on Sunday.
Agree with this. As long as Bielsa is around, I absolutely don’t want them to be relegated. They have great entertainment value!
