Bwahaha…
You been smoking up a storm with @Scott.Jones ?
Think todays formation would best be described as a 4-4-1-1
Salah upfront
Bobby behind doing his usual thing
Diogo was asked to defend like a #8
Milner not attacking at all
And Harvey doing everything else on the right hand side.
Nice comeback Dane! Thought you would follow up with ‘Next’ in post match thread
Then we can all say…we told you who to pick…
Pep should be fined for trying to incite our fans the bald cunt.
Has anyone heard from him ???
The soppy little rat
I haven’t chosen a MOTM. I can only choose 3 and it’d be unfair on any of those I’d be unable to give a vote to. Fantastic all over the pitch and in the stands. Great team performance and great individual performances all over.
The crowd were up for it today (even old men near me were singing). I really can’t wait to take Mrs C to the etihad next week. I’ll obviously (like always) be wearing an LFC top. Their fans have been pretty docile this season. I’m thinking that there’ll be some jibes and barbed comments this time around though. I’m ready for it though.
Aww, Jurgen looks so sad! He needs a hug.
Right in front of the linesman
considering his performance the day…
he probably would have missed,
Mo had already lost the ball
Mo pulled Silva and made him grab his shirt
He’d have to bend over rather awkwardly
Silva has clearly been handed the Fernandinho Immunity card, so many fouls that could have earned a yellow and were not even called. Forget who said it in the match thread, but Guardiola must have briefed them to be unusually snide - so many boots left in, shoves and trips when the play had moved on, that sort of thing. Just continuous the whole match, and I don’t recall Taylor going back for it once.
Me. It was notable him talking during the week about having been too soft in recent games against us. Silva was involved in so much of it, especially targeting the man and not the ball (although Rodri had a particularly bad one as well) that you can maybe just say he individually is a cunt. But when De Bruyne is throwing off the ball blocks like he did on Carvalho late on you know there was something concerted and planned going on.
I love it when McNulty talks dirty to me…
City are too good, and have too many threats, to be knocked off their stride by one defeat but it is clear that losses to Liverpool cause them particularly acute pain.
Oh, I would have to say we had a few pre-match takes in a similar vein on TAN, including mine. I am basically in awe of Milner’s performance today.
Chris Sutton predicted we would get beat 1-4…
All through his commentary today he was siding with the Cheaters in the forlorn hope he wouldn’t get embarrassed by his prophetic misjudgement
The pundits, whether under instruction from their TV employers, are turning football games into a sideshow for entertainment and headline grabbing soundbites…
