Awesome performance, every one of them did their bit.
Was never going to be a breeze for City.
These cunts just dont know how to win at Anfield

Iā€™m more concerned about West Ham than I was about City.
Need to build a momentum now

Coin-tossing isnā€™t taking the shine off the result - even though the papers seem to be all over it!

Great result. Onward and upward!

Commentator on Talkshite this morning muttering that it was ā€œridiculousā€ to chalk off the goal if the refs said theyā€™d let the game flow.

When the fuck was pulling someone down by his shirt without being in touch with the ball and kicking the ball out of a goalieā€™s hands when he had two hands on itā€¦part of the fucking flow?

Wellā€¦they do when there arenā€™t any fans around

Summer 2023 - City buys Mbappe with the Coins that were thrown at Guardiola during the games against Liverpool in Anfield.

When asked to comment on this Guardiola said - ā€œits true. It happened TWICE and we bought Mbappe with that moneyā€.

All the media headlines - clever and remarkable strategy by the number 1 honest club Mancity.

Just yes. Welcome back boys. Welcome back my love of the game.

VAR in our favour. Welcome back the influence of God.

Yeah, ridiculous carry on. Ref let the game flow, aka didnā€™t blow for fouls. Thereā€™s a huge difference between playing the advantage and just not doing your job. There was one instance in the first half on our left, one of our lads was fouled just inside their half but because we came away with the ball be played advantage. The advantage being a 2v1 in their favour. Resulted in a throw for them.

Heā€™s a bad bad ref.

All our CBs on form, fit and available for rotation would unbreachable.

He was like a man possessed. Sticking him on the bench against Rangers might turn out to be Kloppā€™s best decision this season.

Privately saying they donā€™t condone the behaviour is pathetic. Cheaty should be coming out and publicly condemning it. I really hope our club finally realise that these hydrocarbon cunts should be blocked, ostracised and undermined at every single opportunity. Iā€™d like a superleague just to see them and sandcastle excluded. Really hate Klopp being nice about Pep, regardless of what he may think personally, while he is an employee of the cheating hydrocarbon doper scum he is an enemy and should be treated as such.

Do we actually have the power to do that ? If so do it. Same goes for the other lot from Manchester. Weā€™ve been hearing the same old platitudes from both clubs for years and nothing changes.

He has always been my most hated referee. The reasons are two-fold: He is often too gutless to make a call on the spot, and then when players criticise his appalling (non) calls he starts throwing yellow cards around which I can only assume is because his ego wonā€™t allow criticism from players. Probably the two worst qualities you want in a referee.

I had this explained to me in the prematch thread. Apparently if a players shot is saved in a 1 v 1 with the GK, it isnā€™t a miss, itā€™s just a great saveā€¦

This is our first win against a big/rival club this season. So, itā€™s really satisfying. Also, it sooths the annoyance regarding dropping points at Anfield against Palace and Brighton. Onwards and upwards.

They are merely pleasantries. Klopp said himself this week he doesnā€™t know Pep off the field and their relationship only exists from the touchline, and its really easy to believe that they have little interest in knowing eachotherā€™s business outside the two fixtures when they face each other each year.

Anyone seen Haaland?

It depends how you define a ā€˜missā€™. My mind instantly goes to missing the target ie. a shot off-target, rather than missed opportunity. So for me, shots would either be a goal, a save or a miss (off-target) but I could see how it could be defined differently.

Yes it is. Taylor is getting bigged up for letting a lot of ā€˜foulsā€™ go. That is a load of SHITE. Itā€™s like a copper turning a blind eye to petty crime.
If refs are now supposed to let these go then change the rules. Letā€™s make fouling and shirt pulling legal. Letā€™s just have a fecking free for all shall we?
Sorry, but it boils my piss when so called experts come out with garbage like this. If the powers that be want to ā€œlet the game flowā€ then do it by being strict from the off. The first pull on an arm or a shirt, book the fecker. Iā€™ve said before that a tackle can easily be mistimed. But you have to deliberately pull an arm or a shirt. Itā€™s a conscious decision. Fecking card the feckers. If players know that a ref has a zero tolerance policy then perhaps maybe they stop fouling and the game is allowed to flow. :rage:

Rant over.
