Great idea. Why not have French, German, Spanish etc refs in PL and send our refs to the continent?

In the game against Arse Partey had a few kicks at Diaz before he eventually took him entirely out of the game this was another ref letting the game flow and calling him to get up intimating he was feigning injury

This little gem still makes me chuckle (probably because we won 2-0 and fat frank got a red card, later rescinded).
Yossi shielding the ball to eat up the seconds at the end, and Jose Bosingwa just uses his studs to karate kick push Yossi away.
You wonāt be surprised to learn that we get no free kick and Chelsea, as you would expect, get a goal kick.
Who was the ref? The one and only Mike Riley, who at the end of that gameās season, went on to lead PGMOL (and still does, btw, till the end of this season). Apparently, the assistant saw and flagged for the foul, but Riley overruled him. And as the incident was seen by an official, it meant that no retrospective punishment could happen to Bosingwa.
With old boyās network in full swing, is it any surprise Mo can get nothing out of Prem refs?

Holding Salah with 2 hands and arms is the (new) normal. Kicking ManƩ all over the place and yelling diver without getting any protection from the referee was a big part IMHO for him to leave the league.
We on the other hand play way to nice winning the FP trophy year in and year out.

The dickheads who threw coins and shite at the City bus are idiots and should be banned. Likewise, those that chanted the Hillsborough shite and the graffiti are idiots and should be banned.
Contrary to popular belief, every fanbase is comprised of decent people and idiots. Still, when City refused to disavow the song their players sang a few years ago, I was appalled, but when they tried to blame the stuff on Sunday on Kloppās alleged xenophobia, it reeked of deflection and a lack of accountability.

Does anyone remember the 90s Bruce Willis film, the Last Boy Scout? it starts with an NFL game in which one of the players on the offense pulls out a gun during a play and shoots opposition players on his way to scoring a touchdown. It seems like the ref has to throw a flag at some point. The first gun shot you can maybe think a 50-50 but the second is surely a foul? except that the ref said before the game heād let the game flow so there really is nothing he can do. His hands were tied.

that was such a good movie.
I have thought that about a fair few Willis films I thought of fondly from my youth until I rewatched them as an adult and saw they were abysmal. Im not letting that happen to this fond memory of my teenage years
Heās not a bad writer but heās not really a football writer either. Like a high brow, sports based gossip columnist. Doesnāt have any real idea of how the game is played but knows how to write about storylines.
