City ran 8k more than we did yesterday, and put in more sprints, despite having more of the ball.
City played a league cup semi final, we gave our players a(nother) break.
I’m coming around to the view that Klopp left these players in excellent physical condition and that has been slowly eroded over the last 18 months. This squad is not fit enough.

No it wasnt, there was no advantage to Haaland after Dom pulled him back.
There is another problem to this as well, none of them were actually on the ball.

Yes twice yesterday and the same player was the victim for the past nine years and every time it gets waved away. The same shitty player that fouled him yesterday did it many times before, in fact once Silva went piggy back on Salah trying to wrestle him down but Salah carried on running with him on his back and didn’t get even a telling off.

Yes it was total nonsense neither of them were going to touch the ball as it would have been in the net before getting anywhere near it. I would go as far as saying VAR were more interested in sending a Liverpool player offf than awarding a goal to shitty.

I’m resisting going the way of @jaffod but seeing too many irregular decisions around LFC, is testing my faith in the genuineness of refereeing, which has intensified since VAR. The red card Guehi should have seen, as well. I do believe that was red, even if it was not 100% clear goalscoring op, it’s abject cheating at a critical point of the game. Bernado also got away with one on Mo. Its a mockery actually.

That gives the impression I’m some sort of tinfoil hat-wearing crackpot. I don’t think I am. I’ve seen enough of this shite over the years to come to the conclusion some of our ‘referees’ are corrupt. Coote was maybe as close to the smoking gun as we’ll get.
I think Arne Slot feels the same way. It’s come across a number of times recently and yesterday was no different. He referenced the total one-sidedness of the decisions in our 2 games against City this season.
If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it probably is a duck.

No I wasn’t implying that at all, just closer to them shadows, where most things are determined. It nevertheless saps an interest in the game, to see this, its not just us either, but we always seem to regularly be on the end of it. Im trying to think of a sector that isnt corrup come to think of it. For me it’s more disenchantment, but the beautiful game aint so anymore it seems. Taken also with City’s long line of indictments, the situation must be proper cooked.

the saddest thing when you look at the bigger picture is not whether hes right or wrong (Jaffod) but the fact its not just believable but probably inevitable that the games corrupt

While I think we were probably given some bad decisions, that didn’t stop us winning that game. We had some very good clear cut chances.

Also a world class save in the last ten. We were in that game.
Ja that’s pretty damning. It’s just not good enough and when it’s brought up for discussion, it’s always glossed over by a few people and then those same people note we’re gassed by 80 minutes and wonder why.
