I find it odd that these players are gelling less now, having played together for a while, than they were at the beginning of the season.
TBH we have been getting away with it in too many games. This just felt like the numbers game catching up with us.
We didnāt lose or concede. Iāll take that as a positive.

We look a worse team with Gakpo in it than Nunez. Thatās what it comes down to for me, even if heās skying shots and not getting on the end of things.

At this point it doesnāt seem it matters much.
A total lack of any quality from both teams. Our midfield for the first hour was shocking. Diaz and Mo hardly got past their markers and Nunez looked Sunday league class. When is he going to grow up and cut the stupid bookings out.
He might not have a lot of pace, but at least he knows where the net is.

Awful result which was due after the last few games to be fair. Our passing and intelligent play in the final third seems to have evaporated. Missing Jota and probably Bobby.
Diaz and Nunez look lost out there.
They are both good finishers when they donāt have to think but you need that killer pass to make them look good. Service isnāt thereā¦
No idea how you sort this.
Trent did one thing well all day and was unlucky not to score but heās been a little bit āhollywoodā for the last few games. Needs to just go at it and try his luck more. Sboz looks lost.

Some of our players need to start doing more in these so-called big gamesā¦ Otherwise they will get cast like Fernandesā¦ in that he only shines now and again, but never in the big matches

Everything prior to the game pointed to a slugfest. For me the issue wasnāt about the team not playing well but about the chances not taken.

Poor in the final third, but otherwise, we were all over them. They parked the bus and played counter-attacking football that would have made Jose Mourinho proud. I counted seven across the back line a few times. They came and played like Sean Dyche was managing them. Good for them, but thatās what it was. We couldnāt break them down. Had the ball gone in once, it would have gone in several times.
