@jaffod can answer for himself, but from my perspective your comment is unfair.
If you read all of my comments you would acknowledge that I have said that watching this team is a joy. I love that we are engaged on three fronts with a trophy in the bag. And what you call bitterness is perhaps a bit of realism.
In honesty, do you think the playing pitch is level?
Or is it even slightly tilted towards City.
Was the assault on Diaz in my bitter imagination?
Your comment is based on sections of a debate on people you donāt know, a bit unfair in my book.
We played City a couple of weeks ago and Thiago could have been sent off twiceā¦after a week of wailing and gnashing of teeth over the ref choice.
I think most PL refs are incompetentā¦and Paul Tomkins would point towards a (slight) negative skew against us in the past few years. Many reasons have been suggested for this, including that our guys are so āniceā and donāt dive or hassle the ref.
But thereās no grand conspiracy, and this chat is so fucking boring before every game.
I never said anything about a grand conspiracy, so donāt assign that to me.
And maybe answer my question, given Cityās financial shennanigans, and the convenient blind eye turned to them, is the pitch level?
PS, Thiago could have been sent off twice!! You are having a laugh.
Thatās an easy one. They should have told every set of away fans that any chanting about Hillsborough will mean zero tickets for the next seasons game. Do it again next time around and thereās no tickets for 5/10/50 fucking years as far as Iām concerned. And this is something Iāve been saying for years and years, not just a knee-jerk reaction.
To me itās the very least the club should have done to spare those who lost loved ones and still attend matches from having to listen to fucking scum mock them for 33 years. But as with everything else the club sat there with their fingers up their arses for 33 fucking years and did nothing to try and stop it happening.
And thatās the way it will continue, probably starting on Sunday.
In fact reading the āstatementā again itās even more pathetic than I first thought.
āWe know the impact those abhorrent slurs have on the families of the 97ā, yeah, right, thatās why weāve done fuck all to address it.
I agree with you to a large extent. It all plays heavily on my mind. Itās the way Iām wired, weāre all different and thereās probably thousands more who feel the same to some extent.
I donāt think thereās anything wrong with being angry about your club being shafted by corrupt officials, especially when itās not for the first time. We should be roaring our team on towards another title from the front of the pack but instead face losing out by 1 fucking point like in 2019 when Taylor and Atkinson gifted it to City.
Interesting. Are there rules about banning away supporters? Is that up to us?
If so I would definitely be in favor of issuing a clear warning beforehand, then saying after that after anyone singing about Hillsborough will be identified and banned, as it is not welcome at our stadium.
(Itās not right anywhere, but policing what happens in our own house is the first step).
cant argue with the that, however, you could wonder where that would end up thoughā¦
knowing modern socities efforts to just continually delve deeper into the cesspit, more and more ācreativeā lyrics which the performers could say ā i didnt mean āxāx, i meant āxxā, and this is a violation of my rightsā , if you know what i mean.
so yeah, club could definately be a bit more proactive, but sure as shit smells, itāll just be taken to the next level.
