Someone post the final xGs please…
Happy with the three points, but our finishing was piss poor; with decent finishing, we would have hit double figures. Such profligacy in front of goal nearly hurt us today and could well do so against better opposition.
7.2 xG. And Joelinton should have had more yellow cards than even that astronomical figure.
Made our lives way to difficult tonight
We’re gonna…
Instant ban for anyone who seriously thinks Diogo Jota is turning down a tap in to an open net to win a penalty.
Ha ha, it was cute
Well in.
Even in the title-winning season, we made life for ourselves way too difficult at times. Still, the personality and spirit is there, even if the cutting edge could be better at times. We will see how we handle Salah @ AFCON but a big +3 nonetheless.
Aye hence posted only half way
Most xG in Prem history !!!
Good game from us, tad tighter than it needed to be.
Jota in for Andy Caroll.
Macca in for Dominik.
Rest of the team same again. (Harvey for Mo also)
Jotas intelligence shines again. What a player.
Where’s Gomez?
Come on Mascot, he wasn’t that bad….
Feels like groundhog day
Dominate the game
Shit ref performance
Fail to finish off our chances
Walk away with three points.
Just need to do it another eighteen times
To be fair, I’ve been thinking that for months now. But the other end of that is we’re creating so many chances.
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: Nunez creates chances for us (yes, he needs to put those one on ones away though…). And, though I’ve been slating him, so did Diaz tonight.
Frustrating but relentless is how I’d describe us at the minute. We’re doing enough in most games and who knows where that might take us.
