Nah, He does a fine job as a backup midfielder. Iā€™d rather keep him in the side.

felt the crowd was rather dull though. Thatā€™s often been the case this season.

The way this went down will stand us in good stead for the upcoming fixtures. Trailing to a fluke goal after being so dominant would have been enough to jar any team. Instead we calmly went up a gear and aided by Kloppā€™s subs and formation change, we played some fantastic stuff and score 3 wonderful goals to get another 3 points.

There were standout performers such as Salah, Henderson, Thiago and Tsimikas but really everyone involved had a more than decent showing. But it was Joe Gomezā€™s performance that was most pleasing 15 months after his last PL start. If he only he could stay fit.

He does plenty off the ball imo. Not good enough to be the first or second choice , but as someone who can do a shift , Iā€™ll take him. Plus any one better will come at a more severe price tag.

We make it so hard on ourselves, Tsimikas scores the easy chance he had in the first 5 minutes we win this one 7-0 or something.

A good game to watch. Never doubted that we were going to score. Could see a huge improvement when the substitutions were made. Diaz worked really hard right throughout and was rewarded with a goal that he took really well. Another three points for us and at the moment thatā€™s all we can hope for.

Think Klopp will have enjoyed that win. Always difficult when go a goal down to a team at the bottom of the table. Had plenty of chances, but was struggling to find the net, and a fortuitous deflected goal for them just rubbed salt in the wounds.

The 4-2-4 switch, with Thiago adding some needed passing in the middle, turned the game around in under 3 minutes.

The nice thing is we are picking up wins in different ways while rotating the players. Thatā€™s not always the case usually.

Sadio looked more comfortable when switched back to the left, and Mo was given more freedom after Norwich went a goal up, and started to come inside much more, rather than being told to stay wide.

The subs were brilliant! Thiago immediately showed why he is the top 5 midfielders right now in the world. He has quite a fair bit of all our best midfielders ever to grace Anfield.

He has the passing accuracy of Xabi Alonso, the defensive nous of Masherano, and the drive and tackle of Gerrard.

Origi was brought on to occupy the CDs and most importantly increase our luck stats by 100%.

As for the starting lineup, I felt the midfield is focused too much on box-to-box runners. Keita is a good line breaker with his dribbling but he is never gonna ping passes everywhere and control the midfield. As for AOC, he is similar to keita except he uses his pace.

Hendo is brilliant today. It also showed very well of his passing range when he is a CM partnered with our best midfielder, Thiago Alcantara.

We need more players like Thiago Alcantara. Does the academy have them? If not, who can we find as a heir to Thiagoā€™s throne?

a very good win but for some reason we look a bit shaky at the back , maybe its the stupid late offside flag that gives this impression. Matip pedestrian and unimpressive passing , gomez did well defensively and offensively but he is a downgrade on trent going forward having said so its not fair to judge him after one game. tismikas was very good should have scored. Diaz showed his quality and brilliant finishing . Origi changed the game he occupied the central defenders and allowed more space for everyone to play around him 4231 can be helpful playing against deep defending teams that allow no space to run . OX was disappointing and shows no improvement whatsoever. lets hope city crash today

4-2-4 only works when we are throwing the whole damn kitchen sink at someone late in the game. It is not a very good starting formation and it is not defensively viable for the long stretches of the game.

Nice assist from Becker on Mo, his second, first one against United.

How where we that first half, didnā€™t watch it and itā€™s good to see all three forwards scoring including Diaz.

Klopp on substitutions:

ā€œIt was Pepā€™s idea to change the system. Itā€™s a coaching team effort. 4-4-2 gave them a proper system and a proper threat.ā€

Well done, Pep!
