If Tsimikas had scored on 4 minutes I wonder what the final score would have been, might have seen a new record. A bit lack lustre until they fluked the lead but then the crowd woke up and the team responded, great win and well done to the Spurs.

Splitting hairs but I was a bit miffed with the weak-ass and frankly not-on pass that Joe gave to Mo that led to their goal.
Also whatâs the tactic with shots âshepherdedâ from outside the box? Does Ali give a shout that heâs got it covered? Coz seems like itâs almost better to let it through with Ali covering the angles than stick a foot out and the deflection leaves Ali with no chance.

An awful lot bad happens after that pass from Gomez. Tsimikas really should do better with the cross field ball where their lad mis-controls it, Matip just dangles a leg out and lets the lad run round him and Ox lets the guy get round the edge on him to get the shot in. Bit of rustiness from Joe is to be expected but no one covers themselves in glory there.

Very much agree. We lost possession about 15 yards in their half. Ball is played forward and they have 2 men in our half versus our 4 (of I remember correctly). Wouldnât be blaming Joe at all. Matipâs body shape was all wrong making the tackle, he was better set to shield him away from goal. I was more disappointed with how easy he went past The Ox.
I thought Ox had a poor game but I wouldnât be overly critical of Rashica getting half a yard of space on him for a shot - Rashica was quick, strong and skillful all game, to the point he made Joe Gomez look a bit silly on a couple of occasions. Ox only gave him a tiny bit of space to get a low percentage shot off.
There were a few players that couldâve done better in that situation but it was still unlikely that heâd score from that position, it just took the perfect deflection to fool Alisson. Iâd be more critical of the situation that led to Pukkiâs chance than Rashicaâs goal.
