Could only watch the first half due to being in work. Does anybody know where I can find the second half to watch through? As I seemed to miss all the fun
Its on LFCTVā¦425 nowā¦and on 402skyā¦at the momentā¦
Not a channel I have but luckily in checking if we did I found theyāre also showing it on sky sports PL
Too early in the morning for me to watch it live. Even though we were all over them, I was certainly getting a bit worried/frustrated. Then the fluke deflection was the crowning turd in the drainpipe. I did start thinking that perhaps it would be one of those days. I should have known better.
Fortunately it seemed to be the catalyst for more urgency and the game seemed to open up a bit and a quick 2 goal response calmed the nerves somewhat.
Surely we are due to up the conversion rate of some of our chances and really wollop some team in the near future. It would do the world of good for my nerves!
An eventful day for me. Out of the house early to drop Mrs CDO and one of our Grandsons off to get the train to Manchester for the City game. Then met up with my Nephews for our game. I was sat next to a proper beaut from Cambridge. As soon as I got to my seat he starts telling me his life story. From Cambridge. Last time at Anfield in 2008. He canāt get tickets but was using his mateās Mum and Dadās tickets. Had a bet on Salah to get a hat trick. Also did 4-0 with Mo first scorer. Then as different players had chances told me that he was gonna do Tsimi first scorer but changed his mind, then Sadio, then Diaz.
Said he had an upset gut and thought it might be the Scouse pie heād had. Said to me āI donāt know what was in itā? I said āScouseā. He disappeared for a pee on 35 minutes and came back around 65 minutes when we were 2-1 up. Said heād been talking to people on the āconcurseā (his pronunciation, not my spelling. Then he got off with about 10 to go and missed Diazās goal.
Anyway, back to the game. I think if Tsimi put that early chance in weād have battered them. As it was we wete quite ponderous in our approach play and werenāt really clicking. The Norwich goal and the doublevsub sparked us into life. Made up with all three of our goals. All great in different ways.
I went straight fro our game to Manchester to pick Mrs C and G/son up from their game. My lad rang when I was on the way there and told me it was 1-1. By the time I parked up it was 2-1 and then City equalised. I thought that was it, but then a car driving away from the ground started beeping his horn. I feared the worst and thought it was a City winner but checked Live Score and saw that good old Arry had won it at the death. It was a lovely journey home.
3 great goals,good win,after a slow first half.
We are certainly seeing what Thiago brings to the side.Hendo seems to be well back on song,MOTM for me.
We have certainly a decent side now,a midfield staring to look the goods.
Oh happy day!
Couldnāt watch the match due to being in hospital and woke up to the news that City had lost. We are coming up that hill!
In hozzy for a knee op. Should be available for selection in April, JĆ¼rgen.
First, 3 picks:
- Hendo (Bossed the match, especially in the 2nd half. A wonderful ball to Tsimi that led to Sadioās equalizer, and a wonderful welcoming gift to Luis Diaz to pick up his first goal.)
- Mo (You dancer! Fantastic footwork.)
- Luis Diaz (Got much better later in the match. Opened the account at the Kop end.)
Shout out to Naby lad, Tsimi, Joe Gomez, Ali (what an assist) and of course Sadio (what a hell of a goal).
I am a bit worry about Oxās emotional state. The camera penned to the bench after Moās goal and also at the end of the match, instead of celebrating with the others, he was sulking.) Pick yourself up. YNWA!
The pitch looked really scuffed up and with a lot of brown patches even at the beginning of the match, could that be due to the storm?
Cannot express properly how much I love seeing this bond of brotherhood and solidarity, for many reasons, in and outside the realm of sports.
With as divided as the world is today, this is an incredible photograph.
Whatās going on there? Your wife and grandson are Spurs fans?
DAZN Canada extended highlight. Could be geolocked.
ANd thought I will say this too, while I chose Hendo as MOTD, I thought Thiago coming on as a sub, probably to me, played the best ever match for us, so influential and so incisive.
Well, I woke to a massive hangover and missed the game. Didnāt even turn the phone on until it was over. What a match! I had the sound way up and through my speakers I could hear the crowd. In particular, one lady shouting encouragement especially around the 53rd minute. That atmosphere, what a beautiful thing. I want to go backā¦
Then when I checked my phone and saw City had lost in the 94th minā¦ Hahahaha amazing
All the best for your recovery mate.
Ta very much. I should be out of here by Thursday, in time to watch highlights of our win over Dirty Leeds.
Mrs CDO is a City season ticket holder. She had a spare ticket so took my Grandson (who is a Red). Heās nine, and was just made up to be seeing the likes of De Bruyne, Kane, Son etc in the flesh. Iād love to take him to one of our games, but itās getting harder and harder to get tickets. Especially two together. Iāve taken him to Anfield once a few seasons ago. He loved it.
You better do it soon. Donāt want him going over to the dark side
hard to pick a motm. Hendo and Mo were pretty obvious but Tsimikas was also outstanding and Gomez proved we need not worry about the right back spot. Obviously not as good attacking as Trent but so solid defensively and showed great skill and passing was excellent. Then of course Luis deserves a mention . I still have not voted .
I know itās really hard to get ticketsā¦I know its beyond meā¦but I enter as many sky vip ticket comps and LFC comps as possā¦but I rely on bt and sky for gamesā¦and the odd itv n beeb gamesā¦one day my name will be picked outā¦oh how I wishā¦
