Although I think Slot should be sacked I can’t see it happening just yet. I think we would have to get even worse than we are now for FSG to pull the trigger in mid-season.
We can fantasize about Klopp returning but I can’t see that happening either. Slot’s replacement would have to be someone who is with a club now and getting someone to leave a club mid-season is not easy.
I think we’ll be stuck with him until the end of the season.

Errrrrr…he actually has a natural RB in Calvin Ramsey and an emergency option in Gomez on the bench but elected to not use any at all…

Actually, any win would put Everton above us. Unbelievably, we have a negative GD. We are minus 2 and Everton are minus 1.
I cannot remember us ever having a negative GD.

Yeah I can’t believe Mo stayed on for 90 mins when slots bringing on extra strikers and Hugo is basically playing midfield at one point. Mo is not part of the solution so it’s time for him to go.
I wonder about the change in backroom staff in the summer. Something will need to change; maybe it’s too early for Arne but they need to get someone in the backroom there to work on defending and set pieces. m

I don’t agree with the whole Slot needs to be replaced, he only won it last season because it was Klopp’s team, etc.
When we won it under Klopp, we struggled for a period the following season. We lost a number of games at home consecutively, I think 5 or 6, conceded 7 at Villa and scraped a Champs league position - relying on an Allison header against WBA, who were eventually relegated.
We call out other clubs fans for their fickleness and then show that we are no different.
Season after Season we call for the Club to spend big and yet when we do, we are still not satisfied.
During Pre-Season the signings were largely backed, it was like we were going into Cheat Mode signing Wirtz and Isak. Now, with hindsight we are much wiser……
I am not trying to excuse Slot (I didn’t excuse Klopp) But, I supported them and the team.
It is clear Slot has made some wrong decisions and it is clear we have some key players out of form/low in confidence.
It is not ideal and it is definitely frustrating but I am all for patience.
We have a big game Weds at home, let’s get behind the manager/lads and help turn our season around
