My head is that kettled by what’s going on I can’t tell if that’s genuine or a joke. But if it’s a season record and we’re on the cusp of breaking that in November it’d be pretty wild.
Just once maybe we could hang on for a draw. That would be a big step in the right direction.
I remember when we did occasionally draw games. Those were the days.

My biggest worry is that the job he seems to need to do is a psychological one. He has to rebuild their confidence and stop them looking so fragile, and I don’t know if he can do that.
I’d have more confidence if it was a coaching issue.

No he isn’t poorly coached, he has had these lapses many times but got away with them when Ali has pulled off one of his trade mark saves.
Earlier in the game, Ibou took out ball and man, that is what needed to be done tgere slide in to get to the bounce to clear for a throw in, he had the momemtum
Just a note on Frimpong…he was supposed to be an excellent addition…just seems to be another Sicknote Sam…just my opinion…probably wrong…but no one gets away with the current shit show..

Agree. I’m no optimist and I’m in no way suggesting this has been the case on this whole run but, at no point between their first and their second was the thought of a 1-4 loss fathomable.
Its as much mental now as anything. They know they’re in a hole so everything is nervy, they’re making silly errors and trying to do too much in attack. The second something goes wrong it’s panic stations and then heads drop when we concede.
I don’t think a team can come back from this without some kind of major reset. The international breaks didn’t do it and the end of the season is too far off as well. All signs point to one thing.
Edwards and Hughes can’t look Slot in the eye and fire him for wasting £400m without pulling the trigger on themselves as well.

Hate to say this but if we had Caicedo it would make a vast difference to us, I love Grav, but he needs to stay as the pivot and stop venturing forward.
I jest, but even so. Maybe this is all karmic punishment from the universe for the fans for having been fondly claiming that the team are “Mentality Monsters”.
Because there is no weaker team than Liverpool FC in the Premier League. There are worse teams. Teams with far worse players etc. But none are weaker.
